Andy Razaf ( December 16, 1895 – February 3, 1973 ) was an American poet, composer and lyricist of such well-known songs as " Ain't Misbehavin '" and " Honeysuckle Rose ".

The anonymous sleeve notes on the 1960 RCA ( UK ) album Handful of Keys state that Waller copyrighted over 400 new songs, many of which co-written with his closest collaborator Andy Razaf.

He collaborated with the Tin Pan Alley lyricist Andy Razaf.

It is named after the song by Fats Waller ( with Harry Brooks and Andy Razaf ), " Ain't Misbehavin '".

On a The Times-Union list of the 50 greatest sitcom characters of all time, George was ranked third, behind Lucy Ricardo ( Lucille Ball ) from I Love Lucy and Barney Fife ( Don Knotts ) from The Andy Griffith Show.

Jesse Donald " Don " Knotts ( July 21, 1924 – February 24, 2006 ) was an American comedic actor best known for his portrayal of Barney Fife on the 1960s television sitcom The Andy Griffith Show, a role which earned him five Emmy Awards.

When the show first aired, Andy Griffith was intended to be the comedic lead with Don Knotts as his " foil ," or straight man, almost similar to their roles in No Time for Sergeants.

In 1986, Don Knotts reunited with Andy Griffith in the made-for-television film Return to Mayberry, where he reprised his role as Barney Fife yet again.

Bennett also voices Jock and Trusty, the neighbors of Lady and Tramp who join Scamp's family in a search to find him ; and the Dogcatcher, who, in a style reminiscent of Don Knotts's portrayal of Barney Fife on The Andy Griffith Show, chases after the Junkyard Dogs, determined to capture them.

Andy puts aside any thoughts of running when he learns that his old deputy and cousin, Barney Fife ( Don Knotts ), left Raleigh, and was appointed acting sheriff.
