Architects Venturi, Scott Brown & Associates developed a master plan with two design alternatives.

The design of the Robarts Library complex was headed by Mathers & Haldenby Architects with consultation from Warner, Burns, Toan & Lunde, the New York architectural firm whose earlier works included the libraries at Cornell and Brown universities and was specialized in precast concrete buildings.

The square was first conceived by the City of Toronto in 1998 as part of revitalizing the intersection, and was designed by Brown and Storey Architects.

Designed by Brown + Storey Architects, the square was intended as a new public space in Toronto, somewhat akin to Nathan Phillips Square, designed by Viljo Revell for New City Hall.

Hewitt and Brown Architects and Engineers were contracted to design a school building.

The velodrome was designed by Faulkner Brown Architects and has garnered a reputation for speed since its opening.

Brown was elected a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects in 1930.

In March 2004 a list of the three short-listed consortia was announced, with the winning applicant revealed in December that year: PPP Solutions – a consortium of financier Babcock and Brown, Multiplex Constructions, Multiplex Facilities Management, Spotless Services and Daryl Jackson Architects.

The present bus terminal was completed in 2011 to a design by Brown and Storey Architects, who worked with Stevens Group Architects, landscape architect Scott Torrance, and the TTC's internal design department on the 2008-2011 renovation of the station.

The present terminal designed by Brown, Healey, Bock Architects and Planners was dedicated in 1986 with a ceremony that U. S. Secretary of Transportation Elizabeth Dole attended.

The winning bid of the redevelopment is led by Babcock & Brown with architects Billard Leece Partnership and Bates Smart Architects.

This was implemented by Twigg Brown Architects as part of their masterplan for the renewal strategy.

The house and gardens were restored in 2008-2009, partly as offices by the GEDC ( Architects, Simpson and Brown, 2006 ).

Other awards for excellence in architecture are given by national professional associations such as the American Institute of Architects ( AIA ), the Royal Institute of British Architects ( RIBA ), the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada ( RAIC ) and the Institute of Architects Bangladesh ( IAB ).

In the words of his biographer, Pei has won " every award of any consequence in his art ", including the Arnold Brunner Award from the National Institute of Arts and Letters ( 1963 ), the Gold Medal for Architecture from the American Academy of Arts and Letters ( 1979 ), the AIA Gold Medal ( 1979 ), the first Praemium Imperiale for Architecture from the Japan Art Association ( 1989 ), the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, and the 2010 Royal Gold Medal from the Royal Institute of British Architects.

In 1930, he founded the Department of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and later ( 1978 ), as a trustee, he was awarded an American Institute of Architects Gold Medal and the first Pritzker Architecture Prize, in 1979.

Francesco Maria Tassi ( 1716-1782 ), in his Lives of the Painters, Sculptors, and Architects of Bergamo remarks that Zuccarelli paints " landscapes with the most charming figures and thus excels not only artists of modern times but rivals the great geniuses of the past ; for no one previously knew how to combine the delights of an harmonious ground with figures gracefully posed and represented in the most natural colours ".

In 2005 it was also recognised as a Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning through Design ( CETLD ), bringing together the knowledge and expertise of the University of Brighton's Faculty of Arts ; The Royal Institute of British Architects ; the Royal College of Art and The Victoria & Albert Museum.

One of the original ten founding members of the American Society of Landscape Architects ( ASLA ), and the only woman, was Beatrix Farrand.

Provincial regulatory bodies are members of a national organization, the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects / L ' Association des Architectes Paysagistes du Canada ( CSLA-AAPC ), and individual membership in the CSLA-AAPC is obtained through joining one of the provincial or territorial components.

He designed to the north west of the garden the five-storey School for Naval Architects ( also known as the science schools ), now the Henry Cole Wing in 1867 – 72.

After schooling in Yorkshire, Larner returned to Leek in 1866 to be apprenticed to his father as an architect, and thus was formed the famous Sugden & Son ( Architects ), whose influence on the town was to be profound.

A team was assembled to work to that brief, resulting in a complex collaboration between various government departments ( notably the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Public Works and Services ), the Government Architect, US-based acoustic consultants Kirkegaard Associates, Daryl Jackson Robin Dyke Architects, the key users represented by the Principal and Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and the Principal of the Conservatorium High School, the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust and many others.

On September 13 2001, the idea was presented to executives of Consolidated Edison, the electric utility company serving New York City, by John Englehart, then president of the brand innovation firm Arnell Group Architects John Bennett and Gustavo Bonevardi of PROUN Space Studio distributed their " Project for the Immediate Reconstruction of Manhattan's Skyline ".

He was a partner of Philip Johnson from 1967 to 1991, creating together the partnership firm Johnson / Burgee Architects.

The firm, based in Philadelphia, was awarded the Architecture Firm Award by the American Institute of Architects in 1985.

In 1996 and 1962, SOM received the Architecture Firm Award from the American Institute of Architects, which recognizes the design work of an entire firm.

The Country Music Hall of Fame was designed by local architecture firm Tuck Hinton Architects and museum design firm Ralph Appelbaum Associates.

They have received awards from the Royal Australian Institute of Architects ( RAIA ) that top any other firm, one of which was rated most prestigious and highest honour ; of their contributions to Australian architecture.

Major terminal renovations have been made over the past several years, designed and managed by the local architectural firm Moore, Nordell, Kroeger Architects.

The architectural firm of the building was Rabun Hogan Ota Rasche Architects.

The multiplex cinema and John Lewis parts of the centre mark the UK début of architecture firm Foreign Office Architects.

In 2001 it was converted by a firm of architects, the ground floor becoming a community hall and arts centre, managed by Rook Lane Arts Trust, and the galleried upper floor becoming offices for the architectural firm, NVB Architects.

In 2002, the architectural firm of Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects was hired to design the centre with Thomas Payne as the principal architect.

The winner of the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition was American architect Michael Arad of Handel Architects, a New York-and San Francisco-based firm.

Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, an international firm of architects, interior designers, landscape architects, urban planners and advanced strategists are based in the Qube on Whitfield Street, along with MAKE Architects.

Many of the buildings on campus were designed by the architectural firm, Moriyama & Teshima Architects.

In 1977, the American Institute of Architects presented the firm with a National Honor Award for the building and in 2011 conferred on it the AIA Twenty-five Year Award.
