* Liv Arnesen ( b. June 1, 1953 ) – the first woman to ski solo and unassisted to the South Pole ; she was also one of the two first women to cross the Antarctic continent.

At the end of 2003 – 04, Frank Arnesen was appointed Director of Football for Spurs.

In May 2004, Arnesen was brought to Tottenham Hotspur, replacing David Pleat.

Arnesen was suspended by Spurs on 4 June 2005 for expressing a desire to move to rival club Chelsea, after Chelsea allegedly made an illegal approach to sign him as manager.

Arnesen was photographed aboard one of Roman Abramovich's three luxury yachts on 22 June 2005 thus reinforcing Tottenham's compensation claim.

Arnesen was recommended to Abramovich by Piet de Visser, in a move which was opposed by José Mourinho.

In May 2011, Mijatović was linked with a position of sporting director at Chelsea following the departure of Frank Arnesen, however nothing came of it since in July 2011 the club promoted assistant first team coach Michael Emenalo to the position.

In March 1997, Bøgelund signed his first professional contract, when he was brought to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven by Danish manager Frank Arnesen.

On 10 October 2011 Arnesen took over the additional task of the head coach of Hamburger SV for just one match before hiring and installing a permanent new coach with Thorsten Fink.

He was a part of the 1988 European Cup winning PSV squad, also including fellow Danes Jan Heintze and Ivan Nielsen, Frank Arnesen being out with an injury for the final against S. L.

Frank Arnesen ( born 30 September 1956 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish football player and currently sporting director at Hamburger SV.

On 24 June, both clubs announced that they had reached a financial settlement, later disclosed to be £ 5 million but widely reported to be closer to £ 8 million, and Arnesen would move to Chelsea, filling in the role of head talent scout, in charge of uncovering footballing talents.

In 2001, Ann and Norwegian adventurer Liv Arnesen became the first women to ski across Antarctica.
