After a visit from three doctors, including The Talking Cricket ( Il Grillo Parlante ), the Fairy attempts to give Pinocchio medicine in order to heal his injuries.

Upon awakening, Pinocchio has become human, and all his copper coins have turned to gold, accompanied by a note from the Fairy professing her responsibility.

She summons a group of woodpeckers to shorten the disproportionate nose, and after forgiving Pinocchio, informs him that he is free to consider her an elder sister, and that his father Mister Geppetto is on his way to fetch him.

In his impatience, Pinocchio leaves the house in an attempt to meet his father on the way.

The Fairy eventually appears to Pinocchio in a dream, and commends him for having taken care of his ailing father.

Inside the shark Pinocchio meets a tuna who is resigned to the fate and just says they will have to wait to be digested.

In the following chapter, Pinocchio is transported to the Island of Busy Bees ( Isola delle Api Industriose ), where he meets the Fairy, now older, disguised as an ordinary woman.

The Adventures of Pinocchio is a story about an animated puppet, a talking cricket, and boys who turn into donkeys and other fairy tale devices that would be familiar to a reader of Alice in Wonderland or the Brothers Grimm.

* The Green Fisherman ( Il Pescatore Verde ): a green skinned ogre who catches Pinocchio in his fishing net and attempts to eat him

Originally an unnamed, minor character in Collodi's novel, he was transformed in the Disney version into a comical and wise partner who accompanies Pinocchio on his adventures, having been appointed by the Blue Fairy to serve as the official conscience for Pinocchio.

Paul Smith who was born in Calumet, Michigan was a composer named a Disney Legend who worked on many Disney films and animations including Snow White, Pinocchio and Bambi.

Pinocchio, who is being chased by The Fox and the Cat ( Il Gatto e la Volpe ), pleads with the Fairy to allow him entrance.

It is revealed in chapter XXXVI that she gives a house to the Talking Cricket, who offers to accommodate both Pinocchio and the sickly Gepetto.

When Swash was seven, he made his first TV appearance in an Andrex advertisement, and at the age of eleven he was cast in the movie The Adventures of Pinocchio, as The Fighting boy with Dawn French and Griff Rhys Jones and also co starring along side Jonathan Taylor Thomas Richard Claxton and Correy Carrier his character in it was a small part being one the boys who gets turned into a donkey from going on a Roller Coaster his character is known as Fighting Boy because he gets into a fight with Lampwick over a gun.
