A spin-off of the series M * A * S * H, the show takes place immediately following the end of the Korean War and chronicles the adventures of three characters from the original series: Colonel Potter ( played by Harry Morgan ), Klinger ( played by Jamie Farr ) and Father Mulcahy ( played by William Christopher ).

After his hearing was surgically corrected, he stopped drinking and joined Potter and Klinger at " General General " as its Catholic chaplain.

Also on hand was the idealistic, talented, and often hungry young resident surgeon Gene Pfeffier ( Jay O. Sanders ), attractive secretary Bonnie Hornbeck ( Wendy Schaal ), who had an eye for Klinger, and old-timer Bob Scannell ( Patrick Cranshaw ) who served under then-Sergeant Potter in World War I and was now a hospital resident of 35 years ( thanks to his exposure to mustard gas ).

The season included home scenes with the Potters, most notably when they were deluged with guests in " Thanksgiving of ' 53 ", and Potter tried to keep the phone occupied so Klinger couldn't call his relatives, who were on the way over to surprise him ; this episode also marked the only onscreen appearance of Potter's oft-mentioned daughter, Evvy Ennis, and Potter's grandson, Corey.

") An attractive new psychiatrist, Dr. Lenore Dudziak ( Wendy Girard ) arrived to begin the daunting task of evaluating Klinger, while Potter was horrified that Wainwright assigned Alma Cox as his new secretary.

There is also a touching moment at the end of the " Chief of Staff " episode in which Potter is surprised to see that his hospital office has been redecorated with his desk, paintings, saddle, and other items from the 4077th as " Suicide is Painless " is played ; Potter's portrait of Radar and his group portrait of Hawkeye, BJ, Houlihan, Winchester, Klinger, and Mulcahy ( from the 10th season episode " Picture This ") continued to be seen in his office through the remainder of the sequel series.

Klinger shows off the " camel ", and after a brief show Potter kicks him out of his office.

Potter orders Klinger to get word to Pierce's father and to dig into the paperwork to correct the erroneous declaration of death.

Potter arranged for Mulcahy to receive an operation at another VA Hospital in St. Louis.

Potter then goes to the mess tent looking for Hunnicutt, and finds Hawkeye and Father Mulcahy sitting down to a meal.

Pomona Sprout is head of Hufflepuff House and professor of herbology in the Harry Potter book series.

Uncle Fred's tasks before him are to snatch the bust for Sally Painter ; get Sir Aylmer to drop his suit against Otis, so Sally will not lose the money she invested in his firm ; convince Pongo to turn down Hermione Bostock and marry Sally instead ; restore Bill Oakshott to his place as head of his family home ; and convince Constable Potter not only to not arrest him, but indeed to quit the force so he and Elsie Bean may live happily ever after.

The administrator of the hospital, Potter ( Leonard Rossiter ), is confronted with demonstrators protesting against an African dictator who is a VIP patient, striking ancillary workers ( opposed to the exotic gastronomic demands of the hospital's private patients ) and a less-than-cooperative Professor Millar ( Graham Crowden ), the head of the new wing.

Alfonso Cuarón Orozco (; born 28 November 1961 ) is a Mexican film director, screenwriter and film producer, best known for his films Children of Men, Y tu mamá también, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and A Little Princess.

Cuarón faced criticism from some of the more purist Harry Potter fans for his approach to the film.

Helen Beatrix Potter ( 28 July 186622 December 1943 ) was an English author, illustrator, natural scientist and conservationist best known for her imaginative children ’ s books featuring animals such as those in The Tale of Peter Rabbit which celebrated the British landscape and country life.

In 1997 the Linnean Society issued a posthumous apology to Potter for the sexism displayed in its handling of her research.

In 1893 the same printer brought several more drawings for Weatherly ’ s Our Dear Relations, another book of rhymes, and the following year Potter successfully sold a series of frog illustrations and verses for Changing Pictures, a popular annual offered by the art publisher Ernest Nister.

The firm declined Rawnsley's verse in favour of Potter's original prose, and Potter agreed to colour her pen and ink illustrations, choosing the then-new Hentschel three-colour process for reproducing her watercolours.

Hill Top remained a working farm but was now remodelled to allow for the tenant family and Potter ’ s private studio and work shop.

Potter continued to write stories for Frederick Warne & Co. and fully participated in country life.

By the late 1920s Potter and her Hill Top farm manager Tom Storey had made a name for their prize-winning Herdwick flock.

Potter had been a disciple of the land conservation and preservation ideals of her long-time friend and mentor, Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley, the first secretary and founding member of the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty.

Potter became the de facto estate manager for the Trust for seven years until the National Trust could afford to buy most of the property back from her.

Potter continued to write stories and to draw, although mostly for her own pleasure.

Sister Anne, Potter ’ s version of the story of Bluebeard was written especially for her American readers but illustrated by Katharine Sturges.

Potter left almost all the original illustrations for her books to the National Trust.
