He served as the 5th President of the United States in Congress Assembled from November 3, 1783 – October 31, 1784 in Annapolis, Maryland.

In 1732 the proprietary governor of Maryland, Charles Calvert, 5th Baron Baltimore, signed a provisional agreement with William Penn's sons, which drew a line somewhere in between and renounced the Calvert claim to Delaware.

represented the Penn family for the following seventeen years in their boundary dispute with first Charles Calvert, 5th Baron Baltimore and then his son Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore of Maryland until it was peacefully resolved in 1767.

The name was derived from Charles Calvert, 5th Lord Baron of Baltimore Absolute Lord and Proprietor of the British Provinces of Maryland.

In 1776, he was commissioned as a Captain of the 5th Company of the Maryland 1st Regiment.

Colonel John Rodgers ( 1728 – 1791 ), who operated the ferry and tavern in Perryville, raised the 5th Company of the Maryland Militia.

In 1763 Eden married Caroline Calvert, daughter of Charles Calvert, 5th Baron Baltimore, and in 1769 he succeeded Governor Horatio Sharpe as Governor of Maryland.

Benedict Leonard Calvert ( 1700 – 1732 ), Governor of the Maryland colony from 1727 through 1731, appointed by his brother, Charles Calvert, 5th Baron Baltimore.

Charles Calvert, 5th Baron Baltimore, 3rd Proprietor and 17th Proprietary Governor of Maryland, FRS ( September 29, 1699 – April 24, 1751 ) was a British nobleman and Proprietary Governor of the Province of Maryland.

Frederick Calvert was born in 1731, the eldest son of Charles Calvert, 5th Baron Baltimore, 3rd Proprietor Governor of Maryland ( 1699 – 1751 ).

However, Daniel Wells, age 19, and Henry McComas, age 18, of Captain Aisquith's rifle company of the 5th Maryland Militia regiment have been attributed by Baltimore legend to have been responsible for his death, which was immediately followed by their own.

Dowries were exchanged in the later classical time ( 5th century BC ).

A currency reform in 1922 that exchanged money at a 10, 000-to-1 rate enabled new stamps in the 5r to 200r range, including a set marking the 5th anniversary of the October Revolution, Tsarist stamps surcharged with a five-pointed star containing a hammer and sickle.

The 9th New York hastily began returning fire and unknowingly hit the 5th Massachusetts with musket fire that overshot the Confederate regiment, causing the other Union regiment to return fire in confusion.

The initial attack was by Maréchal de Camp Bauduin's 1st Brigade of the 5th Division emptied the wood and park, but was driven back by heavy British artillery fire and cost Bauduin his life.

These first summit holders, decimated by withering fire, were relieved at 10. 30pm on 8 August by the Otago Battalion ( NZ ), and the Wellington Mounted Rifle Regiment New Zealand and Australian Division ; who were in turn relieved by 8pm on 9 August by the 6th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment and 5th Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment who were massacred and driven off the summit in the early morning of 10 August by Mustafa Kemal ( Atatürk )' s massed attack.

Meanwhile, the batteries had pushed forward about from their previous positions, with " B " Battery HAC switching fire from the " C " group of redoubts and coming into action at a range of to fire on A1 and A2 redoubts, in support of the 5th Mounted Yeomanry Brigade.

The battery of 5th Mounted Brigade opened on small groups of Ottoman infantry but the long range gun accurately returned fire causing this battery to change position.

At 4. 30 p. m., on 7 June 1982, a British Harrier bombing positions held by the 5th Marine Battalion was hit by concentrated fire from M Company ( under Marine Sub-Lieutenant Rodolfo Cionchi ) on Sapper Hill.
