To play upon his previous on screen character of 1 – 2 – 3 Kid, he was given the name Syxx, supposedly because he was the sixth member of the nWo, as well as the fact that adding the numbers one, two and three equal the number six.

When Hall, Nash and Hogan returned to the WWF in 2002, Hogan was removed from the latest incarnation of the nWo.

This storyline was immediately dropped with the nWo members being drafted to Raw while Hogan being drafted to SmackDown!

The first to go was nWo, which only ran for a season.

In 1996, Kyle Petty's # 49 car in the Busch Grand National series was sponsored by the nWo.

Mysterio refused to take off his LWO colors and was attacked by the nWo as a result.

The match was made, and despite the nWo interfering on Bischoff's behalf Flair won and was granted the position of president of WCW.

The Kliq was also the primary catalyst for two of the most controversial stables in wrestling history: the New World Order ( nWo ) in World Championship Wrestling ( WCW ) and the WWF / E, and D-Generation X ( DX ) in the WWF / E.

Of the Kliq, Michaels and Waltman would serve in both groups, though Waltman was a member when both were in separate companies while Michaels was in the nWo when they formed in WWE ; Triple H was a member of DX while Nash and Hall performed with the nWo.

Sean Waltman was a member of both the nWo and D-Generation X

In 2002, after WCW had gone out of business, the nWo was reformed in the WWF with Hall, Nash and Hogan, the group's initial members.

Later, Shawn Michaels — after years away from the ring — was introduced by Kevin Nash as the newest member of the nWo, and Michaels promised the rest of the group that he would soon deliver Triple H. After weeks of lobbying for Triple H's services, a backstage promo of the nWo wishing Triple H luck before the match aired.

Another high profile name is Rick Rude who was both a member of the original D-Generation X and the nWo.

The nWo was reformed in 1999 at the First Mariner Arena with Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Jeff Jarrett.

During the match, Nash interfered on Savage's behalf and jackknifed Hogan to the mat, signaling the breakup of the nWo into two separate factions ( Nash's interference was not enough to prevent Hogan from regaining his championship, thanks to Bret Hart's interference shortly thereafter ).

The return, however, was short lived, and by the midpoint of 1999, the nWo reunion was over.

These include nWo ( 2000 ), Sting ( 2000 – 2001 ), Nitro Machine ( 2000 – currently Inferno ), Madusa ( 2000 – present ) and Goldberg ( 2000 – currently Maximum Destruction ).

Then, during a match between Hall, Nash, Sting and The Giant ( who had recently rejoined the nWo after being kicked out two years prior ), Hall turned on Nash by hitting him with his tag team title belt and leaving the ring.

He fought against the nWo along with Sting and Lex Luger, winning the WCW World Tag Team Championship twice.

While back with the nWo, The Giant won two more Tag Team Championships, once with Sting as an unwilling partner ( as the match was signed before The Giant returned to the nWo ) and once with Scott Hall.

On WCW Monday Nitro, he teamed with Sting to defeat Hogan and Bret Hart by disqualification, a match in which he had little participation ; he was tagged in for a short exchange with Hart, then singlehandedly chased several nWo members down the entry way, whipping them with Hogan's belt.

In September, Flair and Anderson teamed with their bitter rivals, Sting and Lex Luger, to lose to the nWo ( Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and an impostor Sting ) in the WarGames match at Fall Brawl when Luger submitted to the impostor Sting's Scorpion Deathlock.

Sting and Warrior won the match via disqualification due to interference from the nWo.

Jeff Farmer ( born August 14, 1962 ) is a professional wrestler best known as Fake Sting, and later nWo Sting.

In September 1996, the nWo put one over on the fans of WCW by having Farmer dress as Sting and attack Lex Luger.

The WCW wrestlers and fans were fooled into thinking that Sting had joined the nWo.

In one instance where the nWo Sting emerged from the ring canvas, the character was played by someone else wearing a Sting mask.

Farmer, as the nWo Sting, along with Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall defeated Lex Luger, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and the real Sting when Farmer made Luger submit to the scorpion death lock.

The nWo Sting was at the time much more popular than the real Sting in Japan.

In 2004, Farmer went back to the nWo Sting gimmick on the independent circuit in the Carolinas until he started wrestling exclusively for Ultimate Championship Wrestling on January 8, 2005 when he won the title.

Farmer appeared in the video game WCW vs. nWo: World Tour as nWo Sting, labeled in the game as " Sting " ( with the quotation marks ).

At one point in the show, he stood up and used a remote control to release nWo propaganda from the ceiling, revealing himself as the newest member of the recently-formed villain faction.

Nash, Hall, and Sean Waltman distinguished themselves from the rest of the nWo, calling themselves the " Wolfpac " in 1997.

The nWo was originally portrayed as a separate entity from WCW ( often, propaganda-style vignettes and product commercials concerning the nWo were preceded by an " interruption in the feed ", and a voice proclaiming, " The following announcement has been paid for by the New World Order ").

Michaels, then in the midst of a four-year retirement from pro wrestling, would be the first nWo member who had never wrestled in WCW.

This marked the last time that the nWo was seen on WWE programming, apart from later mentions in promos, flashbacks, and DVD releases.

After Hogan formed the New World Order ( nWo ), he defeated The Giant for the Championship at Hog Wild following interference from Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

After two month departure from WWE, Wight replaced Jerry " The King " Lawler when the WWE withdrew him from a match with former nWo partner Hulk Hogan at the PMG Clash of Legends on April 27, 2007.

Patrick was a neutral referee from that point on and never sided with the nWo again.

In June 2002, Booker was ejected from the nWo by Shawn Michaels, sparking a feud between the nWo and Booker and Goldust.

Hogan's villainous new attitude was enhanced by changing his costume color scheme from " Hulkamania " red and yellow to nWo black and white or Brother Ray after adopting a new villainous persona changed his name to Bully Ray

Bucci, along with Richards, asked permission from both Raven and Paul Heyman to parody the New World Order ( nWo ); it was granted, and Bucci was given credit with the creation of the Blue World Order ( bWo ) logo.

Additionally, Revenge features several non-WCW / nWo wrestlers, mostly from Japan, in the form of two " fictitious " wrestling federations: EWF ( Empire Wrestling Federation ) and DAW ( Dead or Alive Wrestling, originally featured in World Tour as DOA ).

Their main feuds were with Master P's No Limit Soldiers ( Swoll, 4X4, Chase Tatum and Brad Armstrong ), Four Horsemen members Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko ( in the storyline, leftover hatred from when Hennig had betrayed the Horsemen to side with the nWo ), Harlem Heat ( Booker T and Stevie Ray ), and The Filthy Animals ( Konnan, Billy Kidman, Rey Misterio Jr., and Eddie Guerrero ).

It was originally started as an nWo PPV, but did not generate the revenue that WCW had hoped it would due in part to the fact that the event suffered from a low buy rate and a lack of revenue from such a small facility ( the first Souled Out was held at the Five Seasons Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and although it sold out the arena only seated barely more than 5, 000 people ).

A brief feud between Savage and fellow nWo member Kevin Nash ended when they forged an alliance when they realized Hogan was playing them against each other to keep them away from chasing the WCW Championship.
