Batman then infiltrates Ra's al Ghul's new Gotham penthouse headquarters and easily defeats his horde of ninjas and Ra's himself.

In the arc, most of his lieutenants are apprehended and his criminal empire dismantled after Batman infiltrates the False Facers under the guise of Matches Malone.

However, this plan backfires when the criminal Jane Doe-a woman who lost her face in an accident-becomes obsessed with ' Bruce Wayne ' after his role in her release, to the point that she infiltrates his life by taking the face of his new assistant, and subsequently cuts off Elliot's new face with the intention of becoming Bruce Wayne herself, only for this effort to be undone when Batman catches her and Hush.

In the Batman: The Animated Series episode " Beware the Gray Ghost ", the Batcave is revealed to be an exact replica of the lair used by the Gray Ghost, a fiction-within-fiction character and idol to Bruce Wayne.

In his final appearance, trying to stop Batman from entering Killer Croc's lair, the game appears to suffer a glitch, only for another of Scarecrow's hallucinations to begin, implying that Crane is messing with the player's head as well.
