Following a short break, the group released " Being Nobody ", a mash-up of Chaka Khan's " Ain't Nobody " and The Human League's " Being Boiled ".

1978 also saw the release of UK band The Human League's début single " Being Boiled ", and in the US Devo began moving towards a more electronic sound.

The album contained re-workings of tracks such as " Temptation " along with versions of Ware songs best known from his time with the Human League, including " Being Boiled " and " Empire State Human ", as well as a cover of the Associates ' hit " Party Fears Two ".

The band had an early hit with " Being Boiled ", but achieved stardom after a key change in line-up in 1980, releasing multiple international hits from the early 1980s to the mid 1990s.

Listening to one of Ware and Marsh's demos, Oakey was inspired to write some lyrics which later became the single " Being Boiled ".

The tape contained versions of " Being Boiled ", " Toyota City ", and " Circus of Death ".

The band released their first single, " Being Boiled ", in June 1978 which became Fast Product's third release.

Capitalising on the success of the album and their recent No. 1 hit single, " Being Boiled " was re-released and became a Top 10 hit in early 1982.

Two songs were released as singles from the album ; a re-recorded version of the band's first single, " Being Boiled " ( this time as part of the Holiday ' 80 EP released a month before the album ), and a cover of Mick Ronson's " Only After Dark " ( which was ultimately given away as a free single with a re-issue of the band's 1979 single " Empire State Human " in June 1980 ).

Neither of these were successful (" Being Boiled " became a UK Top-10 hit in 1982, but it was a stereo remix of the old single version, not the Holiday ' 80 / Travelogue version ).

The Canadian issue of Travelogue was released in a different sleeve, similar to the Holiday ' 80 front cover, and the tracklisting also differed: The Voice Of Buddha ( the re-recorded version of Being Boiled under a different name ), The Black Hit Of Space, Only After Dark, Life Kills, Dreams Of Leaving b / w Crow And A Baby, The Touchables, Gordon's Gin, Rock ' N ' Roll / Night Clubbing, WXJL Tonight.
