* Bike Week ( Bicycle Week ) is a yearly international event that advocates the importance of bicycling as a means of transportation.

Every year Laconia is home to Bike Week, attracting thousands of motorcyclists to the area.

During Daytona Beach Bike Week, a supercross track is built between pit road and the tri-oval section of the track.

In the Combined Statistical Area, Daytona Beach International Airport also serves the area, and is used by many tourists seeking to directly connect to Daytona Beach's many local offerings, such as Daytona Beach Bike Week, Speedweeks and Spring Break.

In 2005 and 2006 the crossroads was on three of the cycling routes organised for the Bike It project and Darlington Bike Week.
