The Greater Green Cove Springs area consists of the unincorporated communities of Fleming Island, Black Creek, Pier Station and Lake Asbury.

This exhibit includes wildlife from the western portions of the Pacific Northwest, and has eight areas: Black Bear Ridge, Eagle Canyon, Cascade Stream and Pond, Cougar Crossing, Wolf Meadow, Cascade Crest, Trillium Creek Family Farm, and Steller Cove.

Cascade Canyon Trail connects each of the exhibits, except Steller Cove, and includes a suspension bridge that offers views of Black Bear Ridge.

The first community is Black Duck Cove and after that, a person will pass by Purcell's Harbour and Little Harbour.

It contains the western part of the town of Stephenville, as well as the communities of Abraham's Cove, Aguathuna, Berry Head, Black Duck Brook, Boswarlos, Campbell's Creek, Cape St. George, De Grau, Felix Cove, Fox Island River, Jerry's Nose, Kippens, Lourdes, Lower Cove, Mainland, Marches Point, Piccadilly, Point au Mal, Port au Port, Red Brook, Sheaves Cove, Ship Cove, Three Rock Cove, West Bay, West Bay Centre and Winterhouse.

Up to a dozen big game outfitters operate from the area employing hundreds of guides, cooks and others. The area has fish processing plants in Woody Point, Rocky Harbour, Cow Head, River of Ponds, Port au Choix, New Ferrole and Black Duck Cove.
