The DC Comics character Boodikka, a member of the Green Lantern Corps, was named after Boudica.

The two discover what seems to be a Green Lantern House Sector, that, according to Boodikka, is not registered.

Suddenly, he is called to the Guardians ' chamber, where they order him to join Alpha Lantern Boodikka in a mission to robot planet Grenda, Stel's homeworld, where the communications ceased abruptly without explanation, and Lantern Stel and the population are missing.

Boodikka responds that her changes are only physical, and she still has her former personality ; John doubts this affirmation.

Boodikka claims this is because Ganthet's newly-discovered emotions allowed him to see her as she is ( Boodikka's true self, now in control of her body again ), not by what she is ( an Alpha Lantern ).

John asks Boodikka if something of her older self remains despite being turned into an Alpha Lantern, after she asks him why he refused to join the Alpha Lanterns.

Suddenly, Boodikka turns against John and attacks him ; John fights back, but he's surrounded by more rogue Alpha Lanterns and is defeated.

Henshaw was seemingly killed when his lifeforce was finally separated from his nearly-indestructible body by the combined full powered blasts of several Lanterns and Ganthet, and appeared on the mental plane of Alpha-Lantern Boodikka in an attempt to take her bio-mechanical body over, where both beings were their original, un-powered selves.

John agrees and departs with Boodikka.

John Stewart is last seen wounded and bleeding, being taken to Henshaw by Boodikka.

In the Reign of Doomsday crossover, Boodikka was attacked by Doomsday while investigating the remains of New Krypton, and Henshaw was revealed to still be alive inside her, forming a new body out of her internal circuitry to fight Doomsday while Batman and Supergirl were trying to repair Boodikka.

They were no match for their opponents as Hal Jordan and Kilowog were still on earth and the unity required for them to hold the line was jeopardized by the bickering of Kreon and Boodikka.

Believed dead after his battle with Hal Jordan, Ke ' Haan, along with fellow GLs Graf Toren, Laira, Kreon, Boodikka, and Tomar-Tu, was captured by the Manhunters and taken to the forbidden Sector 3601 to be used as energy cells for the planet Biot.
