Dr. Malcolm Crowe ( Bruce Willis ), a child psychologist in Philadelphia, returns home one night with his wife, Anna Crowe ( Olivia Williams ), after having been honored for his work.

She is so consumed with writing the story that she hardly notices as Bruce realizes his cause is hopeless and returns to Albany.

Following Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne and Flashpoint events, Bruce Wayne returns to his role as Batman while Dick resumes as Nightwing.

Still in his outfit, he returns to Jack's Place but is refused re-entry by Bruce, who explains to the inebriated patrons that " Santa's a lush ".

Once Bruce Wayne returns from his time in the past, he establishes Batman Incorporated, a global team of Batmen.
