* SS St. Louis ( 1854 – 1855, 1859 – 1878 ): Built and launched for Pacific Mail Steamship Company on February 1, 1854, she was chartered to the New York & Havre Steam Navigation Company and sailed from New York for Havre on August 1, 1854.
