The band consists of Robin Zander ( vocals, rhythm guitar ), Rick Nielsen ( lead guitar ), Tom Petersson ( bass guitar ), and Bun E. Carlos ( drums ).

Brad Carlson, later known as Bun E. Carlos, played in a rival Rockford band, the Pagans.

With Bun E. Carlos joining on drums, Fuse moved to Philadelphia in 1971.

In late 2003, Bun E. Carlos starred in a Target commercial with Torry Castellano, drummer of The Donnas.

2009 also saw Bun E. Carlos launch a separate project including members of Smashing Pumpkins, Fountains of Wayne, and Hanson: Tinted Windows, a power pop quartet whose debut album quickly earned critical praise and repeat airplay on leading syndicated FM radio programs.

On March 19, 2010 it was announced that Bun E. Carlos was not currently the touring drummer for the band but remains a band member.

Carlos has also recorded and written songs for many Rockford bands, such as Mark Willer and The Blues Hawks and also put together the short-lived Bun E. Carlos Experience, which also included Jon Brant, who replaced Tom Petersson in the mid ' 80s, on bass.

In 1972, Zander was offered the lead singer role in a new band called Cheap Trick by the group's drummer, Bun E. Carlos.

Brad M. Carlson ( born June 12, 1951 ), better known by the stage name Bun E. Carlos, is the primary drummer for American rock band Cheap Trick.

He has few writing credits, the most notable of which is the drum solo track " Who D ' King ", from the album All Shook Up and Bun E. in a Box ( 2004 ), a drum sample CD.

Upon their return to Rockford, Nielsen and Petersson renamed the band Cheap Trick after adding drummer Bun E. Carlos and vocalist Randy " Xeno " Hogan.

It was announced in early 2009 that Taylor, along with former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos and Fountains Of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger, formed a new band called Tinted Windows.

St. Clair joined the band Local H after stints as tour manager for Chicago's Liz Phair and served as drum tech for Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick.

A newer version of Citrus Mod Orange called " Citrus Mod Glitter " was introduced in 2009, and was featured on the Bun E. Carlos Signature Legacy drum set configuration.

Joey Kramer of Aerosmith just returned to Ludwig, Roger Taylor of Queen and Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick just passed his 30 year mark as endorser.

Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick also played them in the late ' 70s.

He remains good friends with drummer Bun E. Carlos to this day, and the two of them occasionally play together in " The Bun E. Carlos Experience ", a side-project blues band.

In addition, it was also the first role-playing game to have detailed martial arts rules ( known as " Bun Fu ") and the first attempt at a skill system.

Jones co-directed 1969's The Pogo Special Birthday Special, based on the Walt Kelly comic strip, and voiced the characters of Porky Pine and Bun Rab.
