Bespectacled baby daughter Flicker Farkel ( played by Buzzi ) had no lines except screaming " Hiiii !!!

Before leaving New York for a career in Los Angeles as a television star, Buzzi played in a Bob Fosse classic Broadway show, Sweet Charity, with Gwen Verdon in the original cast ; she had to leave the show in which she had several small roles, one of them " the Singing Fairy ," to become a regular performer on The Steve Allen Show, on CBS.

Buzzi has had featured roles in more than 20 motion pictures including Chu Chu and the Philly Flash, Freaky Friday, The North Avenue Irregulars, The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again, The Villain, and a number of westerns for the European market known as the Lucky Luke series in which she plays the mother of the Dalton Gang and other roles.

In the 1981 season she played the old lady at the movie theater, a role that had been originated by Ruth Buzzi on Whatever Turns You On.

One daughter, Flicker Farkel ( played by Ruth Buzzi ), always had a single word of dialogue: " Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Buzzi's first national exposure came when she teamed up with Dom DeLuise in a comical magic act in which he played an incompetent magician and Buzzi was his " sidekick " named " Shakuntala " who never spoke but always sported a wide grin.

The first twenty large paintings, all tempera on canvas, were painted by Il Cerano ( 4 paintings ), Giovanni Mauro della Rovere ( Il Fiammenghino ) ( 3 ), Il Duchino ( 7 ), Procaccini ( 1 ), Carlo Buzzi ( 2 ), Domenico Pellegrini ( 1 ), and Morazzone.

Buzzi appeared in the " Weird Al " Yankovic video " Gump " and similarly appeared in other music videos with the rock groups B-52's and The Presidents of the United States of America.

Ruth Buzzi guest starred as a music and comedy performer on dozens of prime time television specials with colleagues including Jonathan Winters, Carol Burnett, Jim Nabors, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lee Lewis, Wayne Newton, Anne Murray, Rolf Harris, Dom DeLuise, Tony Orlando and was in a show created for Debbie Reynolds called Aloha Paradise, to name just a few.

Buzzi and her husband are avid automobile collectors, with some of their vehicles being currently on loan to and / on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California including a 1957 Chevrolet convertible that is annually exhibited as part of the display honoring the cars of Steve McQueen.

Buzzi and her husband currently collect post-war English vehicles including Rolls-Royce and Jaguar, but their collection also holds several American muscle cars.

Buzzi, as Gladys, was featured in most of the Dean Martin Roasts from the MGM Hotel in Las Vegas.

It was hosted by comedians Dan Rowan and Dick Martin and featured, at various times, Chelsea Brown, Johnny Brown, Ruth Buzzi, Judy Carne, Richard Dawson, Henry Gibson, Arte Johnson, Goldie Hawn, Larry Hovis, Jeremy Lloyd, Dave Madden, Pigmeat Markham, Gary Owens, Pamela Rodgers, Barbara Sharma, Alan Sues, Lily Tomlin and Jo Anne Worley.

Buzzi was born at Westerly Hospital, Westerly, Rhode Island, the daughter of Rena Pauline and Angelo Peter Buzzi, a nationally recognized stone sculptor.

She was raised in Wequetequock, Connecticut, in a rock house overlooking the ocean at Wequeteqouck Cove, where her father owned Buzzi Memorials, a business still operated by her older brother, Harold.

Buzzi attended Stonington High School where she gained experience as head cheerleader performing before crowds at athletic events.

Buzzi was a presenter at the 2009 Emmy Awards along with several members of her debut series, Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, presenting the Emmy trophy to Jon Stewart for his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Buzzi lives primarily in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband ( a retired businessman ) at their ranch near Fort Worth, Texas where they raise Black Angus and longhorn cattle and quarter horses.

Buzzi and her husband won first place in their category with their 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II drophead coupe at the Concours d ' Elegance national championship in Amelia Island, Florida.

Fabio Buzzi took a giant step forward with the introduction of glass-reinforced polymer hulls, turbo-charged engines, and integral surface drives and the 90's subsequently saw the emergence of the Michael Peter's design and Tencara and Victory hulls dominate, with Sterling, Lamborghini, Seatek and more recently, Mercury sharing the power battle.

The Round Britain Powerboat has been run on 3 previous occasions-1969, 1984 and 2008, the previous winners were Timo Mäkinen, Fabio Buzzi and Vassilis Pateras.

2009 saw a return to traditional Offshore Racing and the trophy was won by Drew Langdon in Silverline Buzzi Bullet.

Born in Carpineto Romano, near Rome, he was the sixth of the seven sons of Count Ludovico Pecci and his wife Anna Prosperi Buzzi.

Florence Henderson, Gwen Verdon, Kathy Johnson, Barry Williams, Billy Blanks, David Hasselhoff, John Franklin, Ryan Bollman, Brian Robbins and Ruth Buzzi were among the stars who appeared during the run of the show.

Ruth Buzzi, Judy Carne, Henry Gibson, Larry Hovis, Arte Johnson and Jo Anne Worley were originally in the pilot special from 1967.

With Ruth Buzzi ..." This maneuver gave Johnson star billing, but made it sound like he was still part of the ensemble cast.

Except for holdovers Dawson, Owens, Buzzi, and only occasional appearances from Tomlin, a new cast was brought in.

Of over three dozen entertainers to grace the cast, only Rowan, Martin, Owens and Buzzi were there from beginning to end.

However, Owens was not in the 1967 pilot and Buzzi missed two first-season episodes.

Ruth Buzzi became a regular on the Sesame Street children's television series.

The dancers were usually Goldie Hawn, Judy Carne and Chelsea Brown ; Ruth Buzzi and Jo Anne Worley popped up rarely, as did frequent guest Pamela Austin.
