CNBC Europe ( referred to on air simply as CNBC ) is a business and financial news television channel which airs across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Along with CNBC Asia, the channel is operated by the Singapore-headquartered CNBC subsidiary company CNBC International, which is in turn wholly owned by NBCUniversal.

On 18 September 2006, CNBC Europe debuted a new graphics package, which is similar to that used by its U. S. counterpart ( first seen in the United States on 19 December 2005 ).

New title sequences were given to Power Lunch Europe and Europe Tonight to coincide with changes to the form and content of those programmes, but unlike CNBC Asia, no other changes were made to the channel's on air look on this date ( although Capital Connection uses CNBC Asia's new graphics as it is produced by that channel ).

CNBC Asia is a business news television channel in Asia.

A subsidiary of NBCUniversal, it is the Asian service of the Consumer News and Business Channel ( CNBC ).

David H. Faber ( born March 10, 1964 ) is a financial journalist and market news analyst for the television cable network CNBC.

The network's morning pre-opening bell programming was also aired on the USA Network, simulcasted in a paid programming arrangement with the channel until 2004, when that network dropped the simulcast months before the NBC Universal merger was consummated, due to concerns USA would then air the coverage of a competitor to future sister network CNBC.

Originally produced through the former Fort Lee, New Jersey facilities of NBC's financial-news cable network, CNBC, and focusing on business and financial news ( including a modified version of the CNBC Ticker showing stock prices and weather forecasts ), the show switched focus to general news in 2004.
