Casa Milà (), better known as La Pedrera (, meaning the ' The Quarry '), is a building designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and built during the years 1905 – 1910, being considered officially completed in 1912.

Gaudi, a Catholic and a devotee of the Virgin Mary, planned for the Casa Milà to be a spiritual symbol.

Casa Milà was in poor condition in the early 1980s.

Casa Milà was a predecessor of some buildings with a similar biomorphic appearance:

Roof architecture at Casa Batlló

Casa Batlló () is a building restored by Antoni Gaudí and Josep Maria Jujol, built in 1877 and remodelled in the years 1904 – 1906 ; located at 43, Passeig de Gràcia ( passeig is Catalan for promenade or avenue ), part of the Illa de la Discòrdia ( the " Block of Discord ") in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Spain.

The Bonapartes at the time had a modest four-story home in town ( now a museum known as Casa Buonaparte ) and a rarely used country home in the hills north of the city ( now site of the Arboretum des Milelli ).

Ussher says that Ninian left Candida Casa for Cluayn-coner in Ireland, and eventually died in Ireland ; that his mother was a Spanish princess ; that his father wished to regain him after having assented to his training for an ecclesiastical state ; that a bell comes from heaven to call together his disciples ; that a wooden church was raised by him, with beams delivered by stags ; and that a harper with no experience at architecture was the builder of the church.
