Mannerheim's mother, Hedvig Charlotta Helena ( Hélène ) von Julin ( 1842 – 1881 ), was the daughter of the wealthy industrialist Johan Jacob von Julin, who owned the Fiskars ironworks and village.

Noted salonniéres here during the 18th century were Hedvig Charlotta Nordenflycht and Anna Maria Lenngren, who acted as the hosts of the academy Tankebyggarorden and the Royal Swedish Academy respectively, while Hedvig Catharina Lilje and Henrika Juliana von Liewen hosted the political salons of the Hats ( party ); in the 19th century, Malla Silfverstolpe became the perhaps best-known salon hostess in her country's history.

Several of her ladies-in-waiting were well known Swedish women of the era ; among them were The Three Graces, as Augusta von Fersen, Ulla von Höpken and Lovisa Meijerfelt were called, and the artists Marianne Ehrenström and Charlotta Cedercreutz.

Fredrika Bremer was born in Åbo ( Turku ) in Finland, then a Swedish province, as the daughter of Karl Fredrik Bremer ( 1770 – 1830 ) and Birgitta Charlotta Hollström ( 1777 – 1855 ).

The theme of identity, and the subversion of expectations of such, is one that can be seen in The Cherry Orchard ; indeed, the cast itself can be divided up into three distinct parts: the Gayev family ( Ranevskaya, Gayev, Anya and Varya ), family friends ( Lopakhin, Pishchik and Trofimov ), and the " servant class " ( Firs, Yasha, Dunyasha, Charlotta and Yepikhodov ), the irony being that some of them clearly act out of place-think of Varya, the adopted daughter of an aristocrat, effectively being a housekeeper ; Trofimov, the thinking student, being thrown out of university ; Yasha considering himself part of the Parisian cultural élite ; and both the Ranevskayas and Pishchik running low on money while Lopakhin, born a peasant, is practically a millionaire.

In 1936 he met a young woman Charlotta Kaletta ( 1910 – 1985 ), born in Ilmenau, Thuringia in Central Germany, who shared his history of a broken marriage.

Arvid Posse was born at Rosendal manor in Malmöhus County, as the son of Governor Count Fredrik Posse and Baroness Magdalena Charlotta Bennet.

Princess Ingeborg of Denmark ( Ingeborg Charlotta Carolina Frederikke Louise ; Charlottenlund, Copenhagen, 2 August 1878 – Stockholm, 11 March / 12 March 1958 ) was a Danish princess and a Swedish princess consort.

Her mother, née Constance Charlotta Trimble ( 1902 – 1992 ; of Irish descent ), married family friend Anthony Keane, a newspaper staff artist, a year later, and Lake began using his last name.

In other parts of Europe, Hedvig Charlotta Nordenflycht was writing in Sweden, and what is thought to be the first scientific society for women was founded in Middelburg, in the south of Holland in 1785.

In 1788, however, he proposed to Charlotta Eleonora De Geer ( 1771-1798 ) and was accepted.

His mother was Charlotta Bull Drayton, the daughter of the colony's Governor John Bull.

* Charlotta Kaletta, the common law wife of Fritz Pfeffer, was not Jewish and therefore was able to remain in her Amsterdam apartment during the occupation.

Her eldest sister was named Charlotta and Miss Lavender kept referring to Charlotta's three sisters as " Charlotta " as well.

It was built for Mrs Charlotta Bethell in 1805, and remained in use until 1935.

Rehn was married to Ove Rehn from 1955 until his death, and they have four children: Veronica, Joakim, Charlotta and Johan.

Anne's irritations and growing dislike of Pfeffer led to complaints and derisory descriptions of him in her diary, against which his son Werner and wife Charlotta defended him once the book was published.

In 1985, Professor H. Arnold Barton was awarded the Charlotta Medal in recognition of his contributions to the Swedish Emigrant Institute at Växjö, Småland, Sweden.

From 1923-29 she appeared as the Principessa della Cercola in W. Somerset Maugham's Our Betters ( Globe, 1924 ) and as Mrs. Linden in Ibsen's A Doll's House ( Playhouse, 1925 ) in the West End, along with engagements at club theatres such as the Q Theatre and the Arts Theatre and a short 1926 Chekhov season at the small Barnes Theatre under Victor Komisarjevsky ( playing Charlotta Ivanovna, in The Cherry Orchard and Olga in Three Sisters ).

She established the institute for the blind in Saint Petersburg, and supported the career of the blind musician Charlotta Seuerling, whose mother she saved from ruin.

The act opens with Yepikhodov and Yasha vying for the affection of Dunyasha, while Charlotta soliloquizes about her life as she cleans a rifle.

Their children were Robert Bridges Forten, Margaretta Forten, Harriet Forten Purvis, Sarah Louisa Forten Purvis, Charlotta Forten, William Deas Forten, Mary Theresa Forten, Thomas Willing Francis Forten and James Forten, Jr., who, with his brother Robert, succeeded his father in the family sailmaking business yup.

A collection of letters written by Pfeffer to Charlotta and a box of photographs of him were rescued, with some of Charlotta's possessions, from an Amsterdam flea market after her death in 1985.

A recent survey of U. S. economists by Daniel B. Klein and Charlotta Stern found that most economists are supporters of safety regulations, public schooling, and anti-discrimination laws.

Perrine played Charlotta Steele, ex-wife of a rodeo champion played by Robert Redford, in The Electric Horseman ( 1979 ).

Charlotta enters, lost and in a daze, and insists that the family find her a new position.

Pfeffer left a farewell note to Charlotta and they stayed in touch through Miep, who met her on a weekly basis to exchange their letters and take provisions from her.
