Mrs. Divine died in 1940, and about 1944 Chet decided to retire and sold the Hotel business and traveled.

Chet Divine died on September 23, 1948.

Calvin artist and designer ( and Altman's brother-in-law ) Chet Allen was art director, and Altman's sister Joan served in a production executive capacity.

They also served as backup musicians on a number of late 1940s and early 1950s RCA Victor recordings by Chet Atkins and on many other RCA country sessions in Chicago and Nashville.

Chet Atkins was born on June 20, 1924, in Luttrell, Tennessee, near Clinch Mountain.

Then defensive back Chet Brooks intercepted a pass from Vikings quarterback Wade Wilson and returned it 28 yards, setting up Montana's third touchdown pass on an 8-yard toss to Taylor.
