Circuit Park Zandvoort is a motorsport race track located in Burgemeester van Alphenstraat 108, 2041 KP in the dunes north of the town of Zandvoort, in the Netherlands, near the North Sea coast line.

However, a new operating company, the Stichting Exploitatie Circuit Park, was formed and started work at the realization of the track's reconstruction plans.

Circuit Park Zandvoort was born and in the summer of 1989 the track was remodeled to an interim Club Circuit of, while the disposed southern part of the track was used to build a Vendorado Bungalow Park and new premises for the local soccer and hockey clubs.

In 1995, CPZ ( Circuit Park Zandvoort ) got the " A Status " of the Dutch government and began building an international Grand Prix Circuit.

The Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit is a street circuit around Albert Park Lake, only a few kilometres south of central Melbourne.

In 2012, the new extended segment of the Sydney Motorsport Park ( originally called the Long Circuit ) was re-named the Brabham Circuit, as was the front straight, named the Brabham Straight, on the eve of the Muscle Car Masters.

The Park of the Reserve is home to the largest fountain complex in the world known as the Magical Circuit of Water.

It is also the site of the country's most important automobile racing circuit, Circuit Park Zandvoort.

In 1948, Circuit Park Zandvoort was built, hosting the Dutch Grand Prix for several decades.

It was first staged at Mosport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario as a sports car event before it alternated between Mosport and Circuit Mont-Tremblant, Quebec after Formula One took over the event.

It is presently held at the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit at Albert Park in Melbourne.

Today the park is home to annual summer events such as the Lurgan Agricultural Show, and the Lurgan Park Rally, noted as the largest annual motor sport event in Northern Ireland and a stage in the Circuit of Ireland rally.

The initial AUSCAR venue was the Calder Park Thunderdome Superspeedway, but over time the series expanded to include the Bob Jane owned 1 / 2 mile Speedway Super Bowl at the eastern end of Adelaide International Raceway ( the only other paved oval circuit in Australia ), the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit, and eventually several Australian road racing circuits including Calder Park's road course.

American purpose-built road courses include: Barber Motorsports Park, Miller Motorsports Park, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lime Rock Park, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Road Atlanta, Circuit of the Americas, Portland International Raceway, Virginia International Raceway and New Jersey Motorsports Park.

However, only a couple of months later a new problem arose: the company that commercially ran the circuit ( CENAV ), called in the receiver and went out of business, marking the end of " Circuit van Zandvoort ".

On 21 August 2008, the official A1GP site reported that the 2008 / 09 season's first race has moved from the Mugello Circuit, Italy to Zandvoort on the 4 – 5 October 2008 due to the delay in the building the new chassis for the new race cars.
