MEGAS languishes in a New Jersey junkyard until it ends up in the hands of a slacker mechanic, Coop, and his slacker best friend, Jamie, around the year 2004.

Kiva goes back in time to retrieve MEGAS, and when she finds she is unable to pilot it because of Coop's modifications, she grudgingly decides to train Coop, who is now the only person who can pilot it.

* Harold " Coop " Cooplowski ( David DeLuise ): The pilot of MEGAS and the main protagonist, Coop is overweight and has an insatiable appetite.

Even though he spends a majority of his time in MEGAS, Coop is actually quite strong as depicted by his demonstrations of raw power, such as being able to punch a car window and breaking it without flinching or using a wrench to wreck a null-distortion missile off of MEGAS.

Instead of driving MEGAS herself, she constantly tries to train Coop.

Despite her many skills, Kiva is usually confined to the back seat, operating a wrist-operated holographic panel to give Coop advice on opponent's weaknesses, navigational directions, or feedback on MEGAS ' system status.

* Goat ( Scot Rienecker ): Between catching a tan on a scrap hill or relaxing in his favorite lawn chair, Goat is the owner and operator of the junkyard in which Coop found MEGAS.

So Jamie lied to get her to go for a ride which ended up turning into a cat and mouse chase with the Glorft until Coop regained control of MEGAS.

He hates Coop and often launches attacks to try to kill him and reclaim MEGAS, and also conquer the Earth, but always fails in some way or other, usually because of sheer luck on Coop's part.

After continual battle with numerous mechs, MEGAS ' systems weaken from battle and " Mechnanimous " challenges Coop.

It was defeated when Coop overheated MEGAS and created an exhaust smoke screen that cut off R. E. G. I. S ' supply of solar energy ( similar to the clouds surrounding Earth in The Matrix ) which consequently shut down all the R. E. G. I. S duplicates.

Coop was coincidentally able to destroy R. E. G. I. S after being released from its grip, dissolving it into particles from a small shock wave created when MEGAS hit the ground.

When MEGAS and the group were training, Coop was caught in a mine field near the ringworld and crash-landed.

Coop accidentally activated a hidden capability inside MEGAS that destroyed all of the insects without harming the ring-world ( which he wound up destroying anyway ).

Coop tried to fight it, but MEGAS wound up being absorbed into the monster.

Coop found his television satellite while avoiding acid boogers inside the monster and MEGAS managed to escape from its mouth.

Coop defeated her by activating MEGAS chainsaw and slicing her in half.

Coop went to fight, but it was disadvantaged by MEGAS ' missing car head, which was taken by Jamie to impress Gina.

Coop then reclaimed control of MEGAS and defeated the Mecha-duplicate.

He allowed Coop and his friends to look for a photonic stabilizer only so he could take MEGAS and take the time drive so he could go back in time and steal the universe's junk.

He tried to execute MEGAS for destroying the flame, but luckily, Coop broke free and destroyed Zanzor.

The rest of the robots fought him and suddenly, Coop activated MEGAS ' flame hands.

Coop decides to take Skippy into space where they encounter the Glorft who were using the Moon to attack Earth, when Coop accidentally ejected Skippy, who ended up finding the device needed to activate the thrusters which would push the Moon to Earth.

MK V into a black hole but thanks to Coop their mission was sabotaged.

Coop fought Grrkek and then blasted him, but this only turned him into a cocoon and transformed him into a bigger and meaner Grrkek.

Coop accidentally transmitted a powerful, hi-frequency radio wave into space which caught the monster's attention when Coop tried to " juice " his satellite dish to boost his television reception.

Kiva suggested that they launch MEGAS's EMP torpedo ( which Coop tweaked into a refrigerator ) to stop it.

Ender lost when Coop integrated the Zorps into Megas and used their power, much to the dismay of the S-Force.

When Coop activated the S-Force's greatest weapon, and fired it at Ender, he accidentally opened a matter-antimatter rift, a vortex that sucks anything into it.

Despite this, he was defeated when Coop threw the car horn into the Saving Grace, which attracted the Florgnots into it and consequently making them attack the battleship from within.

He was tricked by Coop into accidentally destroying his home planet while attempting to destroy him with his flagship's cutter laser.

Paradigm later kidnapped Bolton's four sons — John, Bobby, Coop, and Clint — to transform them into sharks.
