All of the twenty four members of the Sierra Leonean delegation were prominent and well-respected politicians including Sir Milton's younger brother lawyer Sir Albert Margai, the outspoken trade unionist Siaka Stevens, SLPP strongman Lamina Sankoh, outspoken Creole activist Isaac Wallace-Johnson, Paramount chief Ella Koblo Gulama, educationist Mohamed Sanusi Mustapha, Dr John Karefa-Smart, professor Kande Bureh, lawyer Sir Banja Tejan-Sie, former Freetown's Mayor Eustace Henry Taylor Cummings educationist Amadu Wurie, and Creole diplomat Hector Reginald Sylvanus Boltman.

Vaughan's work continues to influence numerous blues, rock and alternative artists, including John Mayer, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Mike McCready, Albert Cummings, and Los Lonely Boys, among others.

Winter became the main songwriting collaborator with Cummings and The Guess Who continued on scoring additional hit singles such as " Hand Me Down World ", " Share The Land ", " Hang On to Your Life ", " Albert Flasher ", and " Rain Dance ".

The Centennial Exposition affected Walker's later career by greatly increasing his interest in technical education as well as introducing him to MIT President John D. Runkle and Treasurer John C. Cummings.

In 1974, Jeffry Hyman co-founded the punk rock band the Ramones with friends John Cummings and Douglas Colvin, upon which point all three adopted stage names using " Ramone " as their surname: Cummings became Johnny Ramone, Colvin became Dee Dee Ramone, and Hyman became Joey Ramone.

" In response to these accusations of anti-Semitism, composer and Oberlin College professor Conrad Cummings wrote a letter to the editor defending " Klinghoffer " as " the closest analogue to the experience of Bach's audience attending his most demanding works ," and noted that, as someone of half-Jewish heritage, he " found nothing anti-Semitic about the work.

A 1940 film of Busman's Honeymoon or The Haunted Honeymoon ( US title ), starring Robert Montgomery and Constance Cummings as Lord and Lady Peter was released but the characters and events bore little resemblance to Sayers ' writing.
