Improv comedy techniques have also been used in television and stand-up comedy, in hit shows such as the recent HBO television show Curb Your Enthusiasm created by Larry David, the UK Channel 4 and ABC television series Whose Line Is It Anyway ( and its spinoffs Drew Carey's Green Screen Show and Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza ), Nick Cannon's improv comedy show Wild ' N Out, and Thank God You're Here.

Alexander also appeared in the seventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, along with the other three principal Seinfeld cast members.

He also plays a recurring role on Larry David's HBO sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm, starred alongside Glenn Close in legal drama Damages and was a regular on the HBO comedy series Bored to Death.

Danson also plays himself on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

McEnroe also appeared on the HBO comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Curb extensions are also used when retrofitting existing streets to accommodate congestion charging schemes-hitherto wide ( sometimes multi-lane ) roads are deliberately narrowed to ensure that the charging equipment can see passing vehicles, and the charging equipment ( and often bollards or other barrier devices ) are placed in the expanded sidewalk area ( to prevent drivers from circumventing the charging system's cameras and detectors ).

In 1963, Curb founded Cude Records, the first of many labels he would run, and released the first Davie Allan single, “ War Path .” Allan participated in recording a number of other singles for Curb's label, released under group names like the Sudells, the Heyburners, and the Zanies.

When Curb assigned soundtrack duties for biker film The Wild Angels to Allan and the Arrows, it would prove a breakthrough success.

Allan cut a few singles for MGM Records in the early ' 70s, continuing his association with Curb, but after that his career faltered.
