It is used as well as in the in lyrics of the experimental music groups Coil who released a song called Solar Lodge, found on the album Scatology, containing the lyrics " See the black sun rise from the Solar Lodge ", Death in June, Von Thronstahl and as the title of a song by Dead Can Dance and E Nomine

The Last Dance was a black comedy about a roller-coaster friendship between two big city couples, and won " Best Actress " and " Best Photography " awards at the 1993 Swedish Film Awards.

The black and white video, directed by David Fincher and choreographed by Paula herself, won four 1989 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Female Video, Best Editing, Best Choreography, and the first Best Dance Video.
