* Felpham & Middleton Country Dance Club has written a history from 1933 – 1994, just about one of the oldest extant English Country Dance clubs in England.

The single was a hit in the clubs ( peaking at # 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music / Club Play chart ), and made it to # 28 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

Local dance schools and clubs include Lewes Dance Club, East Sussex Dance and ballet groups.

The Union supports a wide range of clubs and societies, with over 40 in total ranging from the Rock Society to Dance @ SU.

The dancing is generally modern Western square dancing, as it is practiced throughout the world, standardized by Callerlab, the International Association of Square Dance Callers, and as generally practiced by clubs belonging to the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs ( IAGSDC ), the umbrella organization for gay square dance clubs.

Dance clubs in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe are active, especially with students.

There are over 70 different sporting groups and organisations in the region from the Academy of Dance, croquet, aero, pony clubs, through to the football, rugby, cricket and cycling.

Student activities include Dance Marathon and Relay for Life, an FM radio station ( WTHS-FM 89. 9 ), newspaper ( The Anchor ), literary magazine ( Opus ), and yearbook ( Milestone ), plus a variety of clubs, musical and choral groups, spiritual, literary, social and athletic groups.

This track, with new vocals by the singer and actress Davina Perera, experienced a revival in the clubs in 2008 and reached No. 1 on UK Dance Chart.

There are approximately 113 student run clubs, including: Sports Shooting, Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers ( SASE ), Merced Pre-Law Society, Business Society, National Society of Black Engineers ( NSBE ), American Women Making A Difference, Black Student Union ( BSU ), Society of Women Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Math Society, Amnesty International, American Medical Student Association, Chinese Student Association, Circle K International, Hermanas Unidas de UCM, Korean American Coalition, Hmong Student Association ( HSA ), Nikkei Student Union ( NSU ), Dance Coalition, Distinguished Ladies, Student Transfer Outreach and Mentor Program, Democrats at UC Merced, Bobcat Band, HHM ( Hip Hop Movement ), Society of Freethinkers, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, Martial Arts Club, Muslim Student Association, NORML, Persian Student Association of UC Merced ( PSAUCM ), Pilipino American Alliance ( PAA ), Republicans at UC Merced, South Asian Student Association, Taekwondo ( TKD ), The Other Child, Rotaract, rock climbing, and bakery clubs.

Some on-campus clubs are Circle K International, Swing Dance Club, and Philotech to name a few.

Some of the clubs include: Alpine Skiing, Badminton, Dance Team, Synchronized Skating, snowboard, Dodgeball, Martial Arts, Rowing, and Table Tennis.

Slijngaard now lives in Monte Carlo with his wife and his son Rayvano, and Doth continues to tour clubs as part of the group Divas of Dance.

Other clubs include the Bike Co-Op, Cheerleaders, Earthquakers ( Competitive Dance ), Equestrian Program, martial arts groups, Men's Volleyball, and Outdoors Club.

Gay clubs became very much a pivotal point in the development of today ’ s Dance Music culture, where Hedonism, Sexuality, Race and Gender unite as one for the cause of dance music.

NYIT Manhattan campus is home to a number of student clubs and organizations such as the Allied Health Life Science Organization, Bear Hug Club, Student Nurses Association, Dance Club, American Medical Student Association, Student Programming Association, Society of Hosteurs, and American Institute for Architecture Students.

From the end of the Second World War there had been attempts by the English Folk Dance and Song Society in London and Birmingham to form clubs where traditional music could be performed.

The clubs include the Arts Club, Astronomy Club, Media Club, Dance Club, Design Club, Dramatics Club, Editorial Board, Literary Club and The Music Club.

Its remixes were also promoted in U. S. dance clubs, and peaked within the top five of the Billboard Dance Chart.

* Dance school

The high school has an Yup ' ik Dance Team which often visits other villages for feasts and festivals.

* George Fowler, b. 1930, author of the autobiography " Dance of a fallen monk " and other books, was born and grew up near Conrad and went to high school there.

The South Glens Falls High School is the host of the annual South High Marathon Dance, where the school raises money for people or causes identified as in need.

High school sports girls ' sports are volleyball, basketball, softball, tennis, cross-country, Dance Team, power lifting, and track.

Mule Days has been celebrated on the first Saturday in June for over 50 years, featuring a Kiddie Parade, Main Parade, entertainment and games for kids at the park, three on three basketball in front of the high school, food and craft fair at the park, Community BBQ pork luncheon, Beer Garden, and Mule Days Dance.

RADA is an affiliate school of the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama and its higher education awards are validated by King's College London.

In South Africa, the equivalent of the American prom is the Matric Dance, taking place during the matriculation ( i. e., final ) year of high school ( 12th grade ).

Allegheny Valley School, formerly Kenmawr Elementary and then Miller School of Dance, is a special needs school in Kennedy.

The school also offers four club sports: ice hockey, lacrosse, rugby, and the Spirit Squad, composed of the Dance Team and the co-ed cheerleading squad.

She enrolled at a professional school ( Georgia Massey's School of Song and Dance in the San Fernando Valley ), sang professionally and appeared in local repertory theater.

The school also remains and is known as the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

* The Gaines Dance Barn, built c. 1930 and recently renovated, is the rehearsal space for all dance programs at the school.

The school has recently been extended with a purpose built Arts and Design block housing specialist facilities for Art, Music, Drama, Dance

Dance classes can also be taken at another community centre – the Forster Institute ; and the Leanne Hughes dance school next to the station.

* Save the Last Dance ( 2001 )-starring Julia Stiles, a high school girl who strives to get into the Juilliard Dance Academy.

The Manx Heritage Foundation has a dedicated Manx Music Development Team comprising a Manx Music Specialist who works with the IOM Department of Education to encourage the development of Manx music in the school curriculum and a Manx Music Development Officer, who works to promote Manx Music and Dance in the wider community.

The school has been ranked highly by The Guardian, placing it 6th in its league table of specialist institutions and 9th for Drama and Dance.

The school also has a fitness center with an interior basketball court, the Semans Library, the Hanes Student Commons, Workplace ( adjacent to the library ) which holds Visual Arts Studios as well as Offices and Studios for the School of Dance, Gray Building, which holds high school academics on the third floor and music offices and practice rooms on the first and second floors, a building holding two dance studios, a visual arts sculpting studio, a large design and production complex, a costume, wig and makeup studio, a welcome center, and several buildings for administrative offices and college academics.

A new Dance and Cheerleading school was opened in February 2008.

One school in Massachusetts has continued to teach Denishawn Dance for over 50 years.

The CSUF Dance Team holds the most national titles at the school currently, with 11 national titles from UDA Division 1 Jazz ; 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 ; as well as one national title from UDA in Division 1 Hip Hop.

Recently, the school have introduced House Drama, House Art and House Dance with the initial idea of giving everyone a chance to perform in different ways.
