Both Horn and Downes have performed the song live in other acts, including Yes ( which Downes and Horn joined for the Drama album and tour in 1980 ), Downes in the 2006 – 2009 revival of Asia with John Wetton on lead vocals, and Horn in his band The Producers, also in 2006.

This declaration, although somewhat changed in phraseology, is the equivalent, as pointed out in Downes v. Bidwell, of the formula, employed from the beginning to express the purpose to incorporate acquired territory into the United States, especially in the absence of other provisions showing an intention to the contrary .".

Only three characters, More himself and the Earls of Shrewsbury and Surrey, appear in all three portions ; six other characters — Lady More, Palmer, Roper, Sergeant Downes, the Lord Mayor, and a sheriff — appear in two of the three segments.

During this time, her touring band included Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes, who would later go on to find success as the Buggles, then as members of Yes, and later as a top record producer ( Horn ) and founding member of Asia ( Downes ).

In 1996, Steve Whiteman formed a band called Funny Money In 1998, Brian " Damage " Forsythe teamed up with ex-White Sister and Tattoo Rodeo drummer Rich Wright, and erstwhile Rhino Bucket members rhythm guitarist / lead vocalist Georg Dolivo ( George Dolivo ) and bassist Reeve Downes to forge Deep Six Holiday.

The likes of Dennis Wise, John Fashanu, Vinnie Jones and Lawrie Sanchez are often considered as some of the high profile members of the ' crazy gang ', although the club's first ever full-time apprentice Wally Downes is normally cited as the founder, being an inveterate practical joker.

Wetton and Downes ' attempt to restart the group in 1987 with guitarist Scott Gorham ( formerly of Thin Lizzy ) and drummer Michael Sturgis ( ex-a-ha ) fizzled when they were unable to land a worldwide recording deal.

Pat Thrall joined Downes, Palmer and Wetton on tour and they performed classic material, including King Crimson and U. K. songs.

Meanwhile, Wetton and Downes released some archival Asia material under the name Wetton / Downes and they then reunited to record a full-length album ( Icon, released in 2005 ), and an accompanying EP and DVD.

On 9 May 2006, John Payne, Geoff Downes, John Wetton, Carl Palmer and Steve Howe contractually agreed that John Payne could continue his 15 year period with Asia as Asia Featuring John Payne.

Asia's set included only " An Extraordinary Life " from Phoenix, the rest of the songs coming from the first two albums plus one cover each from The Buggles (" Video Killed the Radio Star " with Wetton on lead vocals and Downes on vocoder ), King Crimson (" The Court of the Crimson King ", which was recorded by a previous incarnation of that band with Greg Lake on lead vocals ) and Emerson, Lake & Palmer (" Fanfare for the Common Man ").

In 1981, Howe, John Wetton ( King Crimson ), Carl Palmer ( Emerson, Lake & Palmer ), and Geoff Downes ( The Buggles & Yes ) formed the band Asia, but after two popular albums and a few hit singles, Howe left the band over differences with Wetton.

Wetton also created the Icon project with fellow Asia bandmate Geoff Downes.

John Payne became the frontman of Asia in 1992 at the invitation of founding member Geoff Downes, replacing vocalist / bassist John Wetton.

After the departure of John Wetton, Geoff Downes invited Payne to join the band as lead singer, bassist, co-writer and co-producer.

On the 9th of May 2006, John Payne, Geoff Downes, John Wetton, Carl Palmer and Steve Howe contractually agreed that John Payne could continue his 14 year legacy with ASIA as " ASIA Featuring John Payne ".
