* The TB-303 is the subject of Fatboy Slim's first single, " Everybody Needs a 303 ".

The Fatboy Slim album and Cook's second solo album Better Living Through Chemistry ( released through Skint Records ) contained the Top 40 UK hit, " Everybody Needs a 303 ".

A 1982 project, Everybody Needs It, was also successful, and featured Jack Bruce, an artist who influenced her strongly and whose songs she has covered on several of her albums.

On February 13, 2011, in his first live appearance at the Grammy Awards, Mick Jagger, who had been influenced by Burke, paid tribute to Burke in the Grammy Awards " In Memoriam ' segment by singing " Everybody Needs Somebody to Love ," backed by Raphael Saadiq and his band.

On May 28, 1964 Burke recorded two unreleased songs, and " Everybody Needs Somebody to Love " ( Atlantic 2241 ), that was also written by Burke ( but also credited to Bert Berns and Jerry Wexler ), which was Burke's most prominent bid for an enduring soul standard.

Gladys Knight & the Pips ' Motown long-playing debut, Everybody Needs Love ( Gladys Knight & the Pips album ) | Everybody Needs Love ( 1967 ), which includes their hit single " I Heard It Through the Grapevine ".
