* The Nanping State is founded by Gao Jichang in central China.

The smallest of the southern states, Jingnan ( 924 – 963 ), was founded by Gao Jichang.

Gao Jixing ( 高季興 ) ( 858-January 28, 929 ), né Gao Jichang ( 高季昌 ), known for some time as Zhu Jichang ( 朱季昌 ), courtesy name Yisun ( 貽孫 ), formally Prince Wuxin of Chu ( 楚武信王 ), was the founder of Jingnan, also known as Nanping, one of the states during the Chinese Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period.

Gao Jichang was born in 858, during the reign of Emperor Xuānzong.

Emperor Gao ( 256 BC or 247 BC – 1 June 195 BC ), commonly known by his temple name Gaozu (), personal name Liu Bang, was the founder and first emperor of the Han Dynasty, ruling over China from 202 BC to 195 BC.

Liu Bang named his dynasty " Han ", historically known as " Western Han Dynasty ", and he became known as Emperor Gao ( or Gaozu ).
