Anthony Somers-Willett, Robbie Q. Telfer, Phil West, Ragan Fox, and Karyna McGlynn have devoted much attention to the merging of the poetry slam community and the academic community in their respective works.

1956 Prohibition Party candidate for President, Enoch A. Holtwick, was a professor of history and government at Greenville College and is honored at GC through the Enoch A. Holtwick Literary Award and Enoch A. Holtwick Hall, a residence building.

Corrigan returned to New Jersey in 1864, where he joined the faculty at Seton Hall College and the Immaculate Conception Seminary, both located in South Orange, as professor of theology and history.

She also was a great-grandniece of Giovanni Schiaparelli, an Italian astronomer who believed he had discovered the supposed canals of Mars, and a great-grandniece of art expert Bernard Berenson ( 1865 – 1959 ) and his sister Senda Berenson ( 1868 – 1954 ), an athlete and educator who was one of the first two women elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame.

The four Industrial art works atop the support towers of the Kansas City Convention Center ( Bartle Hall ) were once the subject of ridicule but now define the night skyline near the new Sprint Center along with One Kansas City Place ( the tallest office tower structure in Missouri ), the KCTV-Tower with its hundreds of lit bulbs ( the tallest freestanding structure in Missouri ), and the Liberty Memorial, a WWI memorial and museum, which flaunts simulated flames and smoke billowing into the night skyline.

Also located in Hedgcock is the Reynolds Recital Hall, a 303 seat concert hall featuring state of the art technology.

The East End is home to the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, Carlow University, Chatham University, The Carnegie Institute's Museums of Art and Natural History, Frick Art & Historical Center ( Clayton and the Frick art museum ), Phipps Conservatory, Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall, and the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium.

Huntsman Center, the Utah Museum of Natural History, and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, a museum with rotating exhibitions and a permanent collection of American, European, African, and Asian art.

Modern works of art depicting Yggdrasil include Die Nornen ( painting, 1888 ) by K. Ehrenberg ; Yggdrasil ( fresco, 1933 ) by Axel Revold, located in the University of Oslo library auditorium in Oslo, Norway ; Hjortene beiter i løvet på Yggdrasil asken ( wood relief carving, 1938 ) on the Oslo City Hall by Dagfin Werenskjold ; and the bronze relief on the doors of the Swedish Museum of National Antiquities ( around 1950 ) by B. Marklund in Stockholm, Sweden.

On the grounds of the cathedral, toward the south, are several buildings ( including a Synod Hall and the Cathedral School ), and a Biblical garden, as well as a large bronze work of public art by the cathedral's sculptor-in-residence, Greg Wyatt, known as the Peace Fountain, which has been both strongly praised and strongly criticized.

After the ABC Television Network cancelled producer Leslie Stevens ' science fiction series The Outer Limits in 1965, Stevens wrote a horror script to make use of the talents of the Outer Limits team he had brought together – including cinematographer Conrad L. Hall and composer Dominic Frontiere – with an eye to marketing it to art houses.

The Fine Arts Pavilion ( later the Exhibition Hall ) brought together an art exhibition unprecedented for the West Coast of the United States.

The newly renovated art deco Civic Center Music Hall has performances from Oklahoma City Ballet and opera to traveling Broadway shows and concerts.

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum has galleries of western art and is home to the Hall of Great Western Performers.

This type is also illustrated in art ( e. g. the Westminster Hall mural, shown to the right ) The type seems to be confined to the 13th.

There is also the Hop Gallery in the former Star Brewery in Market Street ; St Anne's Gallery in the High Street and occasional art exhibitions mounted at the Town Hall.

After the 1957 fire, the chapel was rescued by Hugh McKean, a former art student in 1930 at Laurelton Hall, and his wife Jeannette Genius McKean, and now occupies an entire wing of the Morse Museum which they founded.

" With art by Dennis Neville, the origin of the ' Winged Wonder ' saw archaeologist and collector Carter Hall reliving his past life as Prince Khufu in ancient Egypt, creating a costume ( powered by Nth metal ), confronting the reincarnation of Hath-Set, his former nemesis, and meeting his reincarnated love, Shiera Saunders.

Hall Place also has three galleries inside the house, presenting art exhibitions and museum displays.

The 1960s saw the restoration of St Mary ’ s College as the Cathedral Hall, for the use of the Cathedral Parish, and for use as an area for art exhibitions and poetry readings.
