Hazrat Khawaja Ghulam Farid ( Urdu, Saraiki < small >( Seraiki script, Punjabi :,: ਹਜ ਼ ਰਤ ਖ ਼੍ ਵ ਾ ਜ ਾ ਗ ਼ੁ ਲ ਾ ਮ ਫ ਼ ਰ ੀ ਦ, Hindi: हज ़ रत ख ़् व ा ज ा ग ़ु ल ा म फ ़ र ी द ) or Khawaja Farid ( 1845-1901 ) is considered one of the most read and respected sufi poets in the Indian subcontinent.

In Urdu, the most widespread and authentic translation was made by Bahr-ul-uloom Hazrat Muhammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqi Qadri Hasrat, the former Dean and Professor of Theology of the Osmania University, Hyderabad.
The owner and editor of " Al Hilal ", a daily newspaper in Urdu, Hafiz Ali Bahadur Khan B. A., visited Hazrat on one occasion just before his demise, who, in spite of his extreme weakness and inability, spoke to him for about half an hour.
He also translated Sirr-e-Dilbaran, an encyclopedia of Sufi terminology, a work in Urdu by Hazrat Zauqi Shah.
