The Hemshin peoples () or Hemshinli () also known as Hamshenis or Homshentsi, are a diverse group of peoples who in the past or present have been affiliated with the Hemşin district in the province of Rize, Turkey.

* The Hemshinli of Hemshin proper ( also designated occasionally as western Hemshinli in publications ) are Turkish-speaking Sunni Muslims who mostly live in the counties ( ilçe ) of Çamlihemşin and Hemşin in Turkey's Rize Province.

The Western Hemshinli or Rize Hamsheni, are a related but geographically separate group living in Rize province and also spoke Hemşince until sometime in the 19th century.

Some Hemshinli ( both Muslim and Christian ) are also active in economic life as expert bakers, restaurateurs, and transporters, and those in Turkey developed a keen and nationally renowned expertise in the production of crafted handguns.
