Takiap Hill ( เขาตะเก ี ยบ ) This hill, 4 kilometres from Hua Hin town, supports Buddhist temples and offers a commanding view of the resort, particularly early in the morning.

Tao Hill ( เขาเต ่ า ) 13 kilometres south of Hua Hin, there is a 1-kilometre branch road on the left which leads to the spot with two beaches called Hat Sai Noi and Hat Sai Yai.

Hua Hin Beach ( ชายหาดห ั วห ิ น ) Hua Hin Beach extends some five kilometres southwards from a rocky headland until Kao Takiap, a southern headland where a Buddhist temple clings to the cliffs.

Several other waterfalls within the province are well known as touristical targets-Nangrong and the nine-leveled Sarika waterfall are located within the Khao Yai NP, and also the Lan Rak ( or Tat Hin Kong ) waterfall.

The highest elevation of the Phetchabun mountains is 1820 m Phu Man Khao at the Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park in the northern zone of the mountain range.

Just off the southern tip of the island are three small rock-islands, Ko Chan ( Moon Island ; ), Ko San Chalam ( Shark Fin Island ), and Hin Khao ( White Rock ; ).

The protected areas located in the Dong Phaya Yen mountains are Pa Hin Ngam National Park, Sai Thong National Park, Tat Ton National Park, Nam Phong National Park, Phu Lan Ka National Park, Sap Langka Wildlife Sanctuary and the Khao Somphot Non-hunting Area.

The town hosted its first Asian tour event in 2009 at the new Black Mountain course, while other first class courses in easy reach include Royal Hua Hin, Banyan, Palm Hills, Majestic Creek, Lake View and Springfield.
