The title of the compilation is a joke alluding to the relative lack of success achieved by the Red Hot Chili Peppers during their tenure with EMI, highlighting the irony that many of the tracks included on what is supposed to be a ' greatest hits ' compilation were generally singles that peaked notably low in the charts, arguably too low to be considered ' hits ' ( and even in some cases, such as " The Brothers Cup " and " Johnny Kick a Hole in the Sky ", were never released as singles at all with the latter song never even being performed live ).

The picturesque Class II + Bee Cliff Rapids on the Watauga River ( also referred to the " Anaconda Rapids " by some North Carolina-based rafting companies ) are found downstream between Wilbur Dam and the Siam Bridge, southeast of Elizabethton, Tennessee.

The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Snow King and Grand Targhee Resort ski areas, and nearby Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks are major tourist attractions throughout all seasons of the year.

Digital underground incorporated the Family Stone drum loop with four other raw elements ; a deep tonal kick drum that alternated between two bass notes, a handclap snare ( also a sample, taken from " Theme From the Black Hole " by Parliament ), drum-machine hi-hats running continuously throughout which were programmed to 8th-notes, and a guitar hit happening once every bar, all assembled into the now-familiar pattern that forms the Humpty Dance drum track.

The song has been covered by several artists, including Hole throughout their 2010 tour.
