ISO / IEC 7816-4: 2005 is an extension of the bit padding scheme, specifying that the padding consists of N bytes, where the first one is a mandatory byte valued to ' 80 ' ( Hexadecimal ) followed, if needed, by 0 to N-1 bytes set to ' 00 ', until the end of the block is reached.
