Imam Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad bin Saud () ( d. 1803 ) was the second ruler of the First Saudi State and son of Muhammad bin Saud.

It was probably finished by Saud ibn Abdul Aziz ibn Muhammad ibn Saud, who was Imam from 1803 to 1814.

Marriage between Saud's son, Abdul Aziz Ibn Mohammed Ibn Saud, and the daughter of the Imam helped to seal the pact between their families which has lasted through the centuries to present day.

Examples of those who have claimed this are Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani, Imam Nawawi, Ibn Arabi, Sidi Abdul Aziz ad-Dabbagh and Ahmad ibn Idris al-Fasi.

Under 15th Imam Aziz ( 5th Fatimid caliph of Egypt ), religious tolerance was given great importance.

The madrasas built near the tomb of Imam al-Shafi ' i were located adjacent to the important centers of pilgrimage and were a major focus of Sunni devotion.
