Harry David Brecheen ( October 14, 1914 – January 17, 2004 ), nicknamed " The Cat ," was an American left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball who played most of his career for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Ellis Raymond Kinder ( July 26, 1914 – October 16, 1968 ), also nicknamed " Old Folks ", was a Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher who played for the St. Louis Browns ( 1946 – 1947 ), Boston Red Sox ( 1948 – 55 ), St. Louis Cardinals ( 1956 ) and Chicago White Sox ( 1956 – 57 ).

With the acquisition of speed in a trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates, including Dots Miller, Art Butler, Cozy Dolan and Chief Wilson, the Cardinals contended for the NL pennant in 1914.

He won his only World Series championship in 1914 as a member of the Braves, and won his only other National League championship in 1928 as a member of the Cardinals.

Michael Joseph Donlin ( May 30, 1878 – September 24, 1933 ) was an American outfielder in Major League Baseball who played for the St. Louis Perfectos / Cardinals ( 1899 – 1900 ), Baltimore Orioles ( 1901 ), Cincinnati Reds ( 1902 – 1904 ), New York Giants ( 1904 – 1908, 1911, 1914 ), Boston Rustlers ( 1911 ), and Pittsburgh Pirates ( 1912 ).

Raymond Bloom " Rube " Bressler ( October 23, 1894 – November 7, 1966 ) was an American left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball for the Philadelphia Athletics from 1914 to 1916 and Cincinnati Reds from 1917 to 1920, before being converted to an outfielder and first baseman for Cincinnati from 1918 to 1927, the Brooklyn Robins from 1928 to 1931 and the Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals in his final year of 1931.
