Alfonso Cuarón Orozco (; born 28 November 1961 ) is a Mexican film director, screenwriter and film producer, best known for his films Children of Men, Y tu mamá también, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and A Little Princess.

In 2003, Cuarón directed the third film in the successful Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Cuarón faced criticism from some of the more purist Harry Potter fans for his approach to the film.

Critically, the film was also better received than the first two instalments, with some critics remarking that it was the first Harry Potter film to truly capture the essence of the novels.

He is joined by producer David Heyman, who Cuarón worked with on Harry Potter.

This means that Neville could easily have had Harry's fate, had Voldemort chosen to target him instead of Harry.

Neville reveals to Harry that he had been subjected to the Cruciatus Curse ( the new form of punishment under the Carrows ) by the Carrows as a result and was forced to go into hiding in the Room of Requirement to avoid Azkaban or death.

In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix she had a central role where her character sets firmly in the limelight, with hints of Ginny's greater importance to the overall plot by joining a secret student organisation called Dumbledore's Army that was founded by Harry, Ron and Hermione ( played by Emma Watson ) and eventually goes along with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville ( played by Matthew Lewis ) and Luna ( played by Evanna Lynch ) on a mission to rescue Sirius Black ( played by Gary Oldman ) that leads to the climactic battle between Dumbledore's Army and the Order of the Phoenix, Lord Voldemort ( played by Ralph Fiennes ) and the Death Eaters.

In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 Wright reprised the role of Ginny Weasley where her character outshines again as she plays the central role as she attends her oldest brother Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's ( played by Domhnall Gleeson and Clémence Poésy ) wedding, sees concern for her family and fights the Death Eaters and also revived The Dumbledore's Army in the same film becoming the leader of the group alongside Neville and Luna and in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 her central role continues to be Harry Potter's love interest and she also takes part in the Battle of Hogwarts despite Harry Potter and Molly Weasley's disinterest, she later becomes the cause of the death of Bellatrix Lestrange ( played by Helena Bonham Carter ) and nineteen years later, her outshining character of Ginny finally becomes Harry Potter's wife and mother to their three children James ( played by William Dunn ), Albus ( played by Arthur Bowen ) and Lily ( played by Daphne de Beistegui ) and sees the children off to Hogwarts.
