Scotland Yard is briefly mentioned in the opening of the second act of the Broadway musical Jekyll & Hyde in the song entitled " Murder, Murder ", about the catching of a murderer.

They even worked with Bandai on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, released in Japan in 1988 and in North America in 1989.

This is perhaps linked to Robert Louis Stevenson's Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, which Wilde admired.
