Spider-Man: India is a comic book originally published in India by Gotham Entertainment Group in 2004, retelling the story of Marvel Comics ' Spider-Man in an Indian setting.

Perhaps their most significant partnership was with Marvel Comics to create an Indian version of Spider-Man, which incorporated India's ancient, mystical heritage and coincided with the launch of the second Spider-Man film in India.

Expected to come to air in 2013, the characters of Phineas & Ferb and Marvel Universe characters, including Spider-Man and The Avengers, would be paired in a crossover special called Phineas & Ferb: Mission Marvel, which would use the plot device of a " inator " device of Dr. Doofenshmitz removing the powers of the superheroes, and the characters of Phineas & Ferb helping them get their powers back while fighting against Marvel villains.

These tales include receiving the Beyonder's power and creating " New Parker City ", Spider-Man and the Thing spying on Dr. Doom and a story featuring Spider-Man's suspicions concerning the Hulk.

Some may wish to make the world a better place but go to antagonistic lengths to do so ( such as Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2, who commits various crimes in an attempt to complete his goal of creating a cheap, renewable source of energy, and Dr. Horrible in Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, who wants to rule the world so that he can solve all of its problems ), or may employ a code of honor in fighting his enemies, even if it is to achieve antagonistic goals.

A side effect of the process was that Mary Jane possessed the same water-based powers as him, and aided in fighting her fellow clone off as Spider-Man went after Dr. Warren.

" His hunt is initially interrupted by Punisher who intends to kill Spider-Man, but the two eventually work together to track down Spider-Man and restore him to his human form with Dr. Crawford's help.

By combining their efforts, Spider-Man and Kraven manage to restore Dr. Crawford's sanity, though she retains the mutated body and enhanced abilities gained from the serum.

Then, Dr. Octopus took the ambassador of the newly-formed Free Palestinian State hostage, demanding that in exchange for the ambassador's freedom, Spider-Man would meet him in Times Square and unmask himself in front of the world.

In Sensational Spider-Man # 28, Dr. Octopus is seen viewing a telecast of Peter Parker revealing himself to be Spider-Man.

He is again defeated by Spider-Man, who confronts Dr. Octopus unmasked, after two of Peter's students distract Octavius.

In the Marvel 1602 universe, a version of Dr. Octopus appears in the Spider-Man 1602 miniseries.

In the first episode " The Power of Dr. Octopus ", he tries to destroy part of the city to demonstrate his power, sending a letter to the Bugle about his actions, and captures Spider-Man along with Betty Brant before being webbed up.

* Archive footage of Molina as Dr. Octopus appears in the opening scene of Spider-Man 3, and an old newspaper headline in J. Jonah Jameson's office states that Doctor Octopus is still at large.

In the PC / Mac version of the Spider-Man 2 game, the prologue cutscene takes most of the cutscene from the main console version where Dr. Octavius ' machine goes haywire and Spider-Man swings in to stop it.

When Spider-Man and Scorpion reach Dr. Stillwell's hideout, Stillwell orders Rhino to destroy them.

After a standoff between Daredevil, Kingpin, and Spider-Man, Kingpin agreed to leave the country in exchange for his wife's safety, but he secretly and furiously plotted to have Daredevil killed, Dr.

Under the Green Goblin's and Dr. Octopus's leadership, they break free and capture Spider-Man.

MacNicol has lent his voice to several comic book supervillains: Dr. Kirk Langstrom / Man-Bat in The Batman, David Clinton / Chronos in Justice League Unlimited, Dr. Otto Octavius / Doctor Octopus in The Spectacular Spider-Man and the Mad Hatter in the video game Batman: Arkham City.
