Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim both narrate in their Sahih the following:

An authentic or Sahih Hadith says that Imam Ahmad recorded that Ubayy bin Ka ` b said that ;

Notable scholars from the area today known as Uzbekistan include Imam Bukhari whose book, Sahih Bukhari is regarded by Sunni Muslims as the most authentic of all hadith compilations and the most authoritative book after the Qur ' an.

The Sheikh Allamah Zahabi was once asked who has a better memory, Imam Muslim ( author of Sahih Muslim ) or this Imam he replied this Imam.

In reality when the Imam had finished compiling Sunan Al-Kubra he presented to the governor of Ramalah so the governor asked him “ is it all sahih ( are all the narrators 100 % authentic )?” he replied in the negative, thus the governor suggested and requested that he compiles another book and gathers in there Sahih Hadeeth.

' Abd al-Hakim Murad said of Fath al-Bari in the introduction to the translation of Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani's commentary on selected hadith ( published as a booklet by the Muslim Academic Trust ): " The importance of this literature may be gauged by the fact that at least seventy full commentaries have been written on Imam al-Bukhari ’ s great Sahih ... the most celebrated of which is without question the magnificent Fath al-Bari ( Victory of the Creator ) by Imam Ibn Hajar al -‘ Asqalani, a work which was the crown both of its genre and of the Imam ’ s academic career.

Islamic scholar al-Nawawi wrote in his Commentary on Sahih Muslim that Imam Shafi ` i and those who agree to his doctrine in fiqh see in this hadith a proof for praying in absence over a dead Muslim.

In a commentary of the hadith Sahih Muslim, entitled al-Minhaj, the medieval Islamic scholar Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi stated that " one of the collective duties of the community as a whole ( fard kifaya ) is to lodge a valid protest, to solve problems of religion, to have knowledge of Divine Law, to command what is right and forbid wrong conduct ".

According to a Sunni hadith, Sahih Muslim:

Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj Nishapuri says in his Sahih al-Bukhari, that a certain man ( during the time of Muhammad ), was reciting the sura al-Kahf from the Quran by his tethered horse, and as he was reciting, a cloud engulfed him, which was encircling and descending, whose sight caused his horse to jump and move, and so when morning came he went to Muhammad and informed him of what occurred, to which Muhammad replied that it was the Sakinah that descended for the Quran.

It is narrated in the hadith Sahih Muslim that the prophet Muhammad said " Truffles are part of the ' manna ' which Allah, sent to the people of Israel through Moses, and its juice is a medicine for the eyes.

Evidence for facing the Qiblah during du ' a can be found in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim -

Sahih al-Bukhari # 6343, Muslim # 894 and others

Nisa ' i and Sahih Muslim narrate a Sahih hadith, wherein the Prophet Muhammad summoned Mu ' awiya who snubbed him and continued eating his meal-Muhammad then cursed Mu ' awiya with the words: " May Allah never fill his belly!

" Nisa ' i was not the only Sunni scholar who accepted this hadith-there were many others, the foremost being the imams Bukhari and imam Muslim who compiled the Sahih of Muslim.

From the Shia point of view and that of many Sunnis-as has been recorded in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, in a hadith narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar-Imam Hasan ibn Ali did not sign the treaty with Muawiyah because he liked him ; rather, he did so to prevent even worse bloodshed than had already happened at Siffin.

So much so that one of the sayings of the Muslim prophet Mohammad, commonly referred to as ahadith ( singular hadith ) instructs Muslims to " Make oaths only on Allah almighty, the Master of all beings, and protect them more than your lives " ( Sahih Bukhari 45: 15 ).

The book was a summary of the Sahih Muslim Hadith, and consisted of extracts from the Hadiths.

It has references in the authentic hadith books known as Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.

In Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawood, Sunan al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Sunan al-Sughra ( Sunan al-Nasa ' i ), four of the six major Sunni hadith collections, recorded that Abu Hurairah said,

They support their discussion by putting facts from Genesis 17: 19 – 20 and sunni hadeeth: Sahih Muslim, Hadith number 4478, English translation by Abdul Hamid Siddiqui.

The merits of Masjid Quba are mentioned in nineteen Sahih al-Bukhari hadiths ; thirteen Sahih Muslim hadiths ; two Sunan Abu Dawood hadiths ; and six Al-Muwatta hadiths.

Similarly, according to one hadith, or oral tradition, recorded by Sahih al-Bukhari, Umar is reputed to have said:

This Hadith was recorded by Ahmad, At-Tirmidhi and An-Nasa ' i. At-Tirmidhi said, “ Hasan Sahih .”

) Muhammad al-Bukhari recorded this in his Sahih, and so did Muslim, on the authority of Anas bin Malik.

In the Book of Medicine of his Sahih, Al-Bukhari recorded that ` A ’ ishah said, “ The Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) was bewitched until he thought that he had relations with his wives, but he had not had relations with them .” Sufyan said, “ This is the worst form of magic when it reaches this stage .” So the Prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said,

His hadiths on agriculture and environmental philosophy were compiled in the " Book of Agriculture " of the Sahih Bukhari, which included the following saying:

" This veneration is based on a number of records of the sayings of Muhammad who said, " I am the best Salaf for you " and, as narrated in the Sahih al-Bukhari of ` Abd Allah ibn ` Umar, a companion of Muhammad ; " The best people are those of my generation, and then those who will come after them and then those who will come after them ..."| Sahih al-Bukhari collected by Muhammad al-Bukhari. Other narrations indicate that there will follow people who will bear false witness of Islam.

It is reported on the authority of Ibn Masud from Muhammad that he said: “ Whoever recited the last two verses of Suratul Baqarah at night, they will be sufficient for him .” Sahih Al-Bukhari

Examples of this belief such as God has feet ,< sup >, </ sup >, every night God is coming down < Sup ></ sup >, God puts all the heavens on one finger, and the Earths on one finger, and the trees on one finger, and the water and the dust on one finger, and all the other created beings on one finger < sup ></ sup >, in thereafter, God will come to human beings in a shape other than they know him < sup ></ sup >, then he will uncover his shin < sup ></ sup > can be observed in Sahih Bukhari, the most authentic Sunni Muslim book.

He studied the hadith collections Sahih al-Bukhari and Jami ` at-Tirmidhi under Mahmudu ' l-Hasan, on whose hand Ilyas took an oath of jihad against the British.

Muhammad ibn Ismaa ’ eel al-Bukhari said, “ We were with Ishaq ibn Rahoyah who said, ‘ If only you would compile a book of only authentic narrations of the Prophet .’ This suggestion remained in my heart so I began compiling the Sahih .” Bukhari also said, “ I saw the Prophet in a dream and it was as if I was standing in front of him.

I asked some dream interpreters, who said to me, ‘ You will protect him from lies .’ This is what compelled me to produce the Sahih .”

Ibn al-Salah said: " The first to author a Sahih was Bukhari, Abu ‘ Abdillah Muhammad ibn Ismaa ’ eel al-Ju ’ fee, followed by Aboo al-Husain Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Naisaabooree al-Qushairee, who was his student, sharing many of the same teachers.

According to them Muhammad said, " The best people are those living in my generation, then those coming after them ( Tabi ‘ in ), and then those coming after ( the second generation )" Sahih Bukhari

“ When the author of al-Hittah quoted Ibn Khaldun as saying that the explanation of Sahih al-Bukhari is a debt upon the Muslim nation, he said, ‘ This debt has been fulfilled by the explanation of al-Hafith Ibn Hajar .’ For that reason, when it was suggested to Muhammad ibn ‘ Ali al-Shawkani, that he write an explanation of al-Jami ’ al-Sahih by al-Bukhari just as others have, he responded, ‘ There is no migration after al-Fath ,’ referring to Fath al-Bari.

In Sahih Al-Muslim and Al-Bukhari, Prophet Muhammad explains, " It ( Al-Iman / faith ) is to affirm your faith in God, His angels, His Books His Messengers and the Last Day, and to believe in the Divine Destiny whether it be good or bad.

According to a hadith in the collection Sahih Bukhari, Muhammad considered salah " the best deed ".

The practice of circumcision is sometimes characterized as a part of fitrah as mentioned in the hadith of Sahih al-Bukhari ( Quotations of Prophet Muhammad )

The Islamic prophet Muhammad said, " He who observes Al-Bardan ( i. e., Fajr and ` Asr prayers ) will enter Jannah. Sahih Bukhari and Muslim, Narrated by Abu Musa.

Muhammad said ' He who misses his Asr Salah ( i. e. reads it after its specified time ) is as if he has lost his wife, children and all his wealth .’ ( Sahih Muslim )
