In October 2005, a version was released for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, and PC as part of the Taito Legends compilation of classic arcade games.

Phoenix Technologies would shortly follow their lead, but soon " clone BIOSes " were available from many other companies who reverse engineered IBM's design, then sold their version to the PC clone manufacturers.

The full version was released for the PC ( the shareware version was released on January 29, 1996 ).

Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown ( titled simply Duke Nukem in Europe ), the PlayStation version, contains all three original episodes, plus a new one, Plug ' n ' Pray, which includes six extra levels and a secret level, the latter which was also included in the PC version.

The version also features remixed music, some rearranged from the PC version and some original, in streaming XA-Audio made by Mark Knight.

In-game music was removed, many items were renamed to avoid drug and sex references, and several levels were altered to include areas from the Plutonium Pak ( such as a Duke Burger outlet being present in the second level where there wasn't one in the original PC version ).

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon was named Best Game of the Year in 2001 by both IGN and PC Gamer, as well as receiving the Best Sound award from PC Gamer magazine.

The game was praised and faulted on many of the same issues as the PC version, although the game was praised for maintaining smooth and user-friendly controls on a gamepad, as well as for including a two player co-operative multiplayer mode, which IGN described as " worth the price of admission alone.

IGN scored Quake 4 8. 1 / 10 saying " Quake 4 is one of those games that will appeal to console gamers who haven't owned a PC for years.

The title has been inducted into a number of features listing the greatest games ever made, including ones by GameSpy, Edge, IGN, GameSpot and PC Gamer.

Both GamesRadar and IGN placed it in its lists of 100 best games of all time, while ComputerAndVideoGames. com placed it in its list of the 101 best PC games ever.

However, IGN mentioned that playing the PC port would become " stale " unless the player " had an extra pad and a friend ".

IGN gave the game a rating of 9. 2 / 10 while GameSpot described the PC version as " one of the best games of the year ".

Several publications listed UFO: Enemy Unknown as one of top video games ever made, including IGN ranking it as the best PC game of all time in 2000 and 2007.

Fire Warrior received mediocre reviews from the majority of the gaming press sites on the PC version, receiving an average score of 6. 0 from sites such as IGN and Gamespot.

IGN chose the game as the PC Game of the Year in 2005 over F. E. A. R.

In 2007, IGN also ranked it at the second place on the list of top 25 PC games of all time.

IGN staff gave the PC version a more positive review with a score of 8. 0 out of 10. 0, but Craig Harris gave the Game Boy Color port a low score of 4. 0.

IGN shared similar sentiments, rating the PC version 8. 0, and the PlayStation version 7. 5.

Rayman M has received mixed reviews, IGN gave the Gamecube version a 4. 7 / 10 and gave the Xbox version a 3. 8 / 10 saying that it's not a great multiplayer game, while Gamespot gave both the Gamecube and Xbox versions a 6. 2 and the PS2 and PC versions mediocres saying that the four-player multiplayer has worn off.

The game's graphics were moderately well received, with incite PC Gaming saying that " graphics can be a little lackluster, although some of the spell effects certainly look very good ", a statement echoed in NextGen which stated that " mind-blowing spell effects ... will remind you of a two-dimensional Final Fantasy game.

William Pulteney, 1st Earl of Bath, PC ( 22 March 1684 – 7 July 1764 ) was an English politician, a Whig, created the first Earl of Bath in 1742 by King George II ; he is sometimes stated to have been Prime Minister, for the shortest term ever ( two days ), though most modern sources reckon that he cannot be considered to have held the office.

Stephen Poole of PC Gamer US stated the game's predecessor's limited environments did not create a believable flight experience, but wrote, " However, with its exquisite terrain, impressive flight-physics models, and meticulous attention to the details and procedures of civilian aviation, Flight Unlimited II now offers the closest experience to actual flight that you can get on a PC.
