* Great Temple ( 2003 ), the central art piece of the 2003 Burning Man festival, was a large, multi-stage, Maya-style pyramid ( resembling the Temple of Inscriptions at Palenque, El Castillo, Chichen Itza, and the Feathered Serpent Pyramid at Teotihuacan ) designed by Larry Harvey and Rod Garrett.
