Jackson is a city located along Interstate 94 in the south central area of the U. S. state of Michigan, about west of Ann Arbor and south of Lansing.

A Michigan Historical Marker at what is now the northwest corner of Second and Franklin streets in Jackson commemorates an anti-slavery convention of men on July 6, 1854.

Jackson County is a county in the U. S. state of Michigan.

The Jackson County Courthouse was designed by Claire Allen, a prominent southern Michigan architect.

Jackson County is also home to the Michigan Whitetail Hall Of Fame.

At 2006 proceedings cosponsored by the Justice Robert H. Jackson Center and the Supreme Court Historical Society, Supreme Court law clerks from that Court were on a panel with the two eponymous Barnettes.

Jackson controlled the committee firmly but with humour – qualities very necessary when German opponents of new laws on alternative medicines attempted to control proceedings in 1995.

The Court ruled 7-1 in the government's favor, affirming much of the consent decree ( Justice Robert H. Jackson took no part in the proceedings ).

In separate proceedings Jackson way has issued damages proceedings for losses in the region of 64 million euros against the Criminal Assets Bureau based on the reduction in value of the lands they froze and subsequently returned to the company.

Others who have published in the proceedings of the Cabal seminar include Robert M. Solovay, W. Hugh Woodin, Matthew Foreman, and Steve Jackson.

S. factory in Danville, Virginia and its decision to hire the law firm Jackson Lewis, which is often employed by companies to counter labor demands, to consult with IKEA on attempts to form a union at Danville.

Undisputed is the fact that the first official meeting of the group that actually called itself " Republican " was held in Jackson under the Oaks on July 6, 1854.

Resigning when his home state of Virginia seceded, he served first under Stonewall Jackson in the Shenandoah Valley, but then in increasingly important cavalry commands of the Army of Northern Virginia, playing a role in all of that army's campaigns until his death.

Before his presidency, he was the eighth Vice President ( 1833 – 1837 ) and the tenth Secretary of State, under Andrew Jackson ( 1829 – 1831 ).

Later, as president, Jefferson proposed in private letters beginning in 1803 a policy that under Andrew Jackson would be called Indian removal, under an act passed in 1830.

Jackson started the campaign under Lee's orders with a sweeping flanking maneuver that placed his corps into the rear of Union Maj. Gen. John Pope's Army of Virginia, but he then took up a defensive position and effectively invited Pope to assault him.

Calhoun served four years under John Quincy Adams, and then, in 1828, won re-election as Vice President running with Andrew Jackson.

The Bank first came under attack by the Jackson administration in December 1829, on the grounds that it had failed to produce a stable national currency, and that it lacked constitutional legitimacy.
