Edward S. Jerse ( born 1959 ) of Euclid, Ohio, is an American politician of the Democratic party who served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives.

Jerse, who has served as a member of Euclid's city council, has served in the Ohio House in 1995 and was the ranking minority member of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriations.

In Fall 2005, Ed Jerse served as campaign manager for the Reform Ohio Now ballot initiatives that tried to limit the role of the Ohio Secretary of State in elections.

Ed Jerse served as Director of Legislative Affairs for the Ohio Department of Development under Ohio Governor Ted Strickland.

As a political novice, Cafaro won a surprise victory in the 2004 Democratic primary for Ohio's 14th congressional district, topping a five-candidate field, which included 2002 nominee Dale V. Blanchard, columnist Herb Hammer, U. S. Marine Charles L. Wolfe, and Ohio state Rep. Edward Jerse ( who received the endorsement of the Akron Beacon Journal newspaper ).

Cafaro polled 54 % of the vote, while Jerse, the second-place finisher, managed only 19 percent.

Jerse is currently the Director of Regional Collaboration for the Office of Cuyahoga County Executive Edward Fitzgerald.

Jerse studied at John Carroll University finally gaining his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and his law degree from Harvard University.

After a one year assignment in France, Eisenhower served as executive officer to General George V. Mosely, Assistant Secretary of War, from 1929 to February 1933.

When Resnicoff later served as Special Assistant for Values and Vision for the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the U. S. Air Force, he would meet with Falwell to discuss issues linked to religious rights in the military, including the role and responsibilities of U. S. military chaplains.

From July 1996 to July 1997 he served as Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon ; and from November 1993 to June 1996 General Myers was Commander of U. S. Forces Japan and 5th Air Force at Yokota Air Base, Japan.

After an initial tour as a battery Assistant Executive Officer at Fort Sill, he was assigned to the US 9th Infantry Division, Republic of Vietnam, where he served as Forward observer, Aerial observer, and Assistant S-3 with 2nd Battalion, 4th Field Artillery.

He also commanded the 84th Armored Engineer Company, and served as Regimental Assistant S-3 during this tour.

In 1977 he was assigned to the Office of the Chief of Staff, Army where he served on the Congressional Activities Team, and subsequently as an Executive Assistant.

From 1973 to 1987 he directed the conservation program at World Wildlife Fund-U. S., and from 1987 to 1998 he served as Assistant Secretary for Environmental and External Affairs for the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D. C., and in 1994 became Counselor to the Secretary for Biodiversity and Environmental Affairs.

Ashore, Admiral Clark first served as Special Assistant to the Director of the Systems Analysis Division in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations.

This reorganization was engineered in large part by Secretary of State Knox's First Assistant Secretary, Huntington Wilson, who served as de facto Secretary of State due to the frequent absence of Knox.

Dewey first served as a federal prosecutor, then started a lucrative private practice on Wall Street ; however, he left his practice for an appointment as special prosecutor to look into corruption in New York City — with the official title of Chief Assistant U. S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

He served as a New York Assistant District Attorney from 1929 to 1938 before becoming a clerk to secretary to Tammany Supreme Court Justice Joseph A. Gavagan.

Haig served as a staff officer in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations ( DCSOPS ) at the Pentagon ( 1962 – 64 ), and then was appointed Military Assistant to Secretary of the Army Stephen Ailes in 1964.

Scottdale was incorporated as a borough on February 5, 1874 and at that time renamed in honor of Thomas Alexander Scott, who had been president of the Pennsylvania Railroad and served as Assistant Secretary of War during the Civil War.

He served also as Assistant Provincial Fiscal of Pampanga, Senior Prosecutor in the Philippine Department of Justice and Judge of the Manila Regional Trial Court.

Henry T. King Jr. ( born May 27, 1919, Meriden, Connecticut, died May 9, 2009 Cleveland, Ohio ) was an attorney who served as a U. S. Prosecutor at the Nuremberg Trials in 1946-47.

He served as the fourth and final Watergate Special Prosecutor and closed the Special Prosecutor's office in 1977.

Subsequently, it served for a time as the office of the City Prosecutor.
