Humpy Koneru ( born 31 March 1987 in Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh ) is an Indian chess Grandmaster.

Her father Koneru Ashok who was coaching her was not allowed to travel with her for tournaments.

The seven ( Koneru ) tanks were renovated with Mandapas on the hilltop.

Her greatest success so far in an individual event was winning the 2002 Under-20 World Junior Girls Chess Championship, beating Humpy Koneru on tie-break.
