James commented on the opulence of the WWE buffet, asking if he could have some mahi-mahi, and then asked to speak with Vince McMahon as " I made him a bunch of money back in the day " ( as one-half of the New Age Outlaws and a member of D-Generation X, James was partly responsible for large merchandise sales throughout 1998 and 1999 ), while fellow 3Live Kru member Konnan commented that McMahon "... is a stand up guy, but sometimes he has to sit down to aim ".

Vampiro considered Konnan to have sabotaged his chance to parlay his ring success into mainstream stardom, as Konnan did become a mainstream star in Mexico as a result of the role.

Diamond went on to wrestle as a singles competitor in the WWF, first as Kato, then later as Max Moon, replacing the departed Konnan, neither gimmick meeting with very much success.

This led to the WarGames match at Fall Brawl, with Syxx teaming with Kevin Nash, Buff Bagwell, and Konnan to face the Four Horseman team of Flair, Steve McMichael, Chris Benoit, and Curt Hennig.

Mysterio soon began a feud with the New World Order ( nWo ), which culminated when he lost a Mexican Death match to nWo member Konnan at Road Wild in August.

In mid-1999, Mysterio and Konnan joined Master P's No Limit Soldiers, and began feuding with the West Texas Rednecks.

Billy Kidman substituted for Mysterio and teamed with Konnan during their title defense against Harlem Heat and The First Family, in which the Filthy Animals went on to lose the title back to Harlem Heat.

Along with Barr, Konnan, Chicano Power, and Madonna ’ s Boyfriend, Guerrero formed Los Gringos Locos ( The Crazy Americans ), a villainous stable.

After his return in the summer of 1999, Eddie was the founding member of the Filthy Animals stable with Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Konnan ( later growing to include Juventud Guerrera, Billy Kidman, and Disco Inferno ).

Konnan was also influential in bringing in Sean Waltman to AAA for his run with the company throughout 2007 and 2008 with the two aligning on screen for a while as a part of La Legión Extranjera.

In TNA, he became a two time NWA World Tag Team Champion with Konnan and Ron Killings.

In July 2003, James formed the stable known as the 3Live Kru with Hispanic wrestler Konnan and the African American wrestler Ron Killings.

When they lost, Kip came down to the ring, appearing ready to hit Konnan with a steel chair since he originally vetoed Kip's offer.

After James got heated with Konnan, both gave Kip yes votes and the 4Live Kru was born.

The 4Live Kru was short lived as Konnan, still apparently upset at Kip's induction into the Kru, hit both James and Kip over the head with a steel chair at Turning Point.

Konnan, still wanting Killings to be his " family ", tried talking with Killings.

Killings told Konnan that he was done with the Kru and wanted to leave it all behind him.

The next month an arm wrestling match was booked between Armstrong and Konnan, where the losing team would get hit ten times with a leather whip.

As a result of his campaign, Kip attracted the ire of 3Live Kru members Ron Killings and Konnan, leading to a series of tag team matches pitting Kip and Monty Brown against Killings and Konnan, with a conflicted James unwilling to take sides.

He saved James, and then engaged in a staredown with Konnan and Killings.

They lost the titles back to LAX at Bound for Glory in a Six Sides of Steel match after Homicide hit the Gringo Killer on Styles as Daniels was tied up to the cage by Konnan with a coat hanger.

During this time, Kidman was a part of the WCW face faction, the Filthy Animals, with Mysterio, Konnan, and Eddie Guerrero.

Sabu came out during the main event and put La Parka through a table, joining forces with the heels X-Pack, Ron " The Truth " Killings, and Konnan.

Following a heated argument between Konnan and B. G., both Killings and Konnan gave their approval, and the 4Live Kru was born.

However, at Turning Point, Konnan attacked both B. G.

Konnan also participated in the tournament, teamed with Lance Hoyt, but both remaining 3LK teams were eliminated in the semifinals.

got heated with Konnan, both gave Kip " yes " votes, and the " 4Live Kru " was born.

While at AAA, both he and Konnan held booking positions.

The Filthy Animals were officially named so on the August 16, 1999 edition of WCW Monday Nitro, as Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Billy Kidman in the ring, with Kidman stating a new group of friends ( Kidman, Rey Mysterio Jr., Eddie Guerrero, and Konnan ) were " just a bunch of filthy animals " who hung out both on & off camera.

Later, when luchador Konnan joined the nWo, Onoo sent both Psychosis and La Parka after him in subsequent matches on Nitro, with both ending in defeat.

Nash became the leader of nWo Wolfpac, alongside Savage, Curt Hennig, and Konnan.

He resurfaced in World Championship Wrestling in January 1998, where he competed in its cruiserweight division before being released in March 1999 by Eric Bischoff, while Jannetty was recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered during a match with Konnan.

The fight started when Guerrera was involved in a confrontation with Konnan, and Guerrera claimed that Evans had been working stiff during the match that he and Evans had competed in earlier that night.

After Sanders was interrupted during a promo by Filthy Animal member Konnan, the Thrillers ( Sanders, Jindrak, and O ' Haire ) subsequently defeated the Animals ( Mysterio, Jr., Guerrera, and Disco Inferno ) in a six-man tag team match.

In 1996, Guerrero received several shots at the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Konnan at Uncensored and Ric Flair at Hog Wild.

When Konnan left for WCW, Guerrera and the rest followed.

-Paul Heyman says that after WCW stole his talent, he called Konnan, who sent over Rey Misterio Jr. and Psicosis, bringing Lucha Libre to North America.

Harlem Heat claimed their tenth WCW World Tag Team title defeating members of The First Family ( Hugh Morrus and Brian Knobs ) and the Filthy Animals ( Konnan and Billy Kidman ).

On the final episode of episode of Thunder on March 14, Sanders wrestled his final match for WCW as he and Disqo lost to Konnan and Hugh Morrus in a tag team match.

Afterwards Blitzkrieg and Super Dragon were granted a dark match for WCW with the help of American Wild Child, who was friends with Konnan.
