Analog Brothers is an experimental hip-hop crew featuring Ice Oscillator also known as Ice-T ( keyboards, drums, vocals ), Keith Korg also known as Kool Keith ( bass, strings, vocals ), Mark Moog also known as Marc Live ( drums, violyns and vocals ), Silver Synth also known as Black Silver ( synthesizer, lazar bell and vocals ), and Rex Roland also known as Pimp Rex ( keyboards, vocals, production ).

Kool Keith and Marc Live joined with Jacky jasper to release two albums as KHM.

In 2009, Kool Keith released the concept album Tashan Dorrsett ; a follow-up, The Legend of Tashan Dorrsett, followed two years later.

In 2012, Kool Keith performed at the Gathering of the Juggalos.

and the hip hop operette A Prince Among Thieves, which featured Big Daddy Kane, Xzibit, Kool Keith and Everlast.

Originally founded by Kool Keith, the group is composed of Ced Gee, TR Love, and Moe Love.

In 1993, the group released the album The Four Horsemen, which featured guest production and vocals by Godfather Don, who produced solo Kool Keith sessions in 1992.

As a reaction to Ced and Moe's involvement in the Tuff City releases, Kool Keith and Tim Dog reunited on the album Big Time, released under the name Ultra in 1997.

In a 9 December 2005 interview on Houston's Late Nite Snax radio show, Kool Keith confirmed rumours that the Ultramagnetic MC's had reformed and recorded a new album.

Although the album's cover features the original line-up of Kool Keith, Ced Gee, Moe Love and TR Love, TR ( along with Tim Dog ) is notably absent.

Moreno's influences include such bands as The Cure, Bad Brains, The Smiths, My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, Duran Duran, The Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode, Helmet, Jawbox, Faith No More, Hum, Kool Keith, Alice in Chains, Tool, Jane's Addiction and Weezer, and claims that Deftones ' 2006 album, Saturday Night Wrist, is more of a compromise between all of the members ' influences, ranging from their brutal and brooding heavy signature seen on Adrenaline and Around the Fur to the more experimental sound heard on White Pony and Deftones.

After Jurassic 5 put out their first record it, " cemented their position in the 1990s alternative hip hop movement, alongside artists such as Company Flow, Black Star and Kool Keith.

Masters of Illusion is a hip hop side-project of renowned turntablist Kutmasta Kurt and the 2 emcees Kool Keith and Motion Man.

She went on to appear in over thirty commercials for products including McDonald's, Amtrak, Kenner's " Strawberry Shortcake " dolls, Burger King, Mattel, Barbie, Maybelline, Shout Detergent, Pillsbury Pop ' n Fresh Rolls, Apple Kool Aid, Prell, Texaco and McCain's Chicken.

Unfazed by a torrential downpour for much of its first half, the band's set went on to feature thirty five songs, including all but two tracks from Evil Urges and several covers, such as Erykah Badu's " Tyrone ", Kool and the Gang's " Get Down on It ", Sly and the Family Stone's " Hot Fun in the Summertime ", James Brown's " Cold Sweat ", Bobby Womack's " Across 110th Street ", Funkadelic's " Hit It and Quit It ", Velvet Underground's " Oh!

Tim had already appeared on songs with the Ultramagnetic MCs and went on to form a duo, Ultra, with member Kool Keith.

Their disco-inspired track, " Is It Love " ( which featured samples from a 1980s Kool & the Gang song, " Be My Lady ") went to # 1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music / Club Play chart in 2001.

Kool Moe Dee and Easy Lee both went to Norman Thomas high school where they met Special K ( Kevin Keaton ).

Kool Moe Dee later went on to appear in numerous films and Television programmes after the group split up.

L. A went on to choreograph all of Kool Moe Dee's videos just as he did with all of the Treacherous Three's shows.

He has appeared as a featured artist on many other songs and albums, having collaborated with artists such as Janet Jackson, Kool Moe Dee, The Dope Poet Society, Run-DMC, Ice Cube, Rage Against The Machine, Anthrax, John Mellencamp and many others.

In 1990, he appeared on " Kool Thing ", a song by the alternative rock band Sonic Youth, and along with Flavor Flav, he sang on George Clinton's song " Tweakin '", which appears on his 1989 album The Cinderella Theory.

Artists and critics often credit Rakim with creating the overall shift from the more simplistic Old School flows to more complex flows near the beginning of Hip Hop ’ s new school – Kool Moe Dee says, “ any emcee that came after 1986 had to study Rakim just to know what to be able to do ... Rakim, in 1986, gave us flow and that was the rhyme style from 1986 to 1994 ... from that point on, anybody emceeing was forced to focus on their flow ”.

Kool DJ Herc's breakbeat style was to play the same record on two turntables and play the break repeatedly by alternating between the two records.

The various merchandise given out on King Koopa's Kool Kartoons was often adorned with the name Koopa Troopa as well.

While officially the band still exists, and its well-known name was used in 2001 to promote a ' duel ' album pitting the two label's artists against each other, Kool Shen was quoted in 2004 saying " on a fini avec NTM en 98 " (" We were done with NTM in 1998 ").

After this period Joey and Kool got into the rapping industry where they were publicly heard on the radio for the first time in 1989 on radio Nova.

She was featured on rapper Kool G Rap's album Half a Klip, providing the background vocals on the track " On the Rise Again " produced by DJ Premier.

Kurt had previously worked as a producer for several of Kool Keith's albums, many of which featured Motion Man on a track.

The group's main members over the years included brothers Robert Bell ( known as " Kool ") on bass and Ronald Bell on tenor saxophone, lead vocalist James " J. T.

" Hollywood Swinging " was sampled by DJ Kool in his song " Let Me Clear My Throat ," and by rapper Mase on " Feel So Good ".

Kool & the Gang performed at Jerusalem's Gan Sacher ( Sacher Park ) during the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Student Day / Jerusalem Day all-night concert on May 11 – 12, 2010.

Kool & the Gang performed at Glastonbury, England, on 26 June 2011.

In 2012, Kool & the Gang performed as the opening act for select shows on Van Halen's A Different Kind of Truth Tour.
