From west to east ( left to right ) the watersheds are: Pine Creek ( Pennsylvania ) | Pine Creek ( red ); Larrys Creek ( orange ); Lycoming Creek ( yellow ); Loyalsock Creek ( green ); Muncy Creek ( light blue ); and White Deer Hole Creek ( purple, south of the river ).

On the north or left bank of the river they are ( from west to east ): Pine Creek ( and its tributary Little Pine Creek ) which the river receives just west of Jersey Shore ; Larrys Creek, which the river receives about 7 km ( 4 mi ) south of Salladasburg ; Lycoming Creek which the river receives in western Williamsport ; Loyalsock Creek which the river receives between Williamsport and Montoursville ; and Muncy Creek ( and its tributary Little Muncy Creek ), which the river receives just north of Muncy.

A spur of the plank road along Larrys Creek was built into Anthony Township, but it is not known how far it extended.

The source of Larrys Creek is in Cogan House Township, just south of the hamlet of Steam Valley.

The bridge is also known as the " Buckhorn Covered Bridge " ( for a nearby mountain and vanished village ) or the " Larrys Creek Covered Bridge " ( for the creek it crosses ).

Larrys Creek was vitally important to the economic development of Cogan House Township.

During the height of the lumber era that swept through Pennsylvania in the mid-to-late 19th century, Larrys Creek was used to float logs from the hills of the township to the lumber industry in nearby Williamsport on the West Branch Susquehanna River.

The township is named for David Cogan, a pioneer who settled on Larrys Creek in 1825.

Mifflin Township is located within the Larrys Creek watershed.

This area was densely covered with trees and brush until about 1790 when the first settlers attempted to clear some of the land that surrounds Larrys Creek.

As timber and lumber became a major industry in the mid-19th century, Larrys Creek, in Mifflin Township, was a source of power for sawmills and other mills.

Twelve sawmills were on the Second Fork, six on the First Fork, one each on Canoe Run and the rest were on Larrys Creek itself.

On May 2, 1872 a large forest fire destroyed the villages of Carter and Gould, 6 miles ( 10 km ) north of Salladasburg on Larrys Creek in Mifflin Township.

Salladasburg is located on Larrys Creek, at the confluence of the Second Fork of Larrys Creek.

Lycoming Creek ( yellow ) is the third major creek entering the river in the county, between the Larrys Creek ( orange ) and Loyalsock Creek ( green ) watersheds.

The area of land along the West Branch and Larrys Creek was previously known as " Level Corner ".

They settled along the banks of Larrys Creek near where the creek flows into the West Branch Susquehanna River.

Peter Duffy built his home near where the Great Shamokin Path crossed Larrys Creek.

He settled with his family at the mouth of Larrys Creek in August 1784.

It is claimed that the saloon, named after the nearby Black Stump Run and Black Stump Creek, was an important staging post for traffic to north-west New South Wales and it became a marker by which people gauged their journeys.

Evidence of their existence in the area include pits in rock formations, which they used to grind acorns, and a shellmound, now mostly leveled and covered up, along the shoreline of San Francisco Bay at the mouth of Strawberry Creek.

So far, only a single bird species, which has not been named, has been confidently identified from both above and below the K-Pg boundary ( it is present in the Maastrichtian Hell Creek Formation and Danian Fort Union Formation ).

The port was used as the sailing point for the Crusades of 1147 and 1190, and a creek close to Dartmouth Castle is supposed by some to be named for the vast fleets which assembled there ( Warfleet Creek ).

Dave Thomas became an education advocate and founded the Dave Thomas Education Center in Coconut Creek, Florida, which offers GED classes to young adults.

The next two valleys to the east contain Butternut Creek, which flows north, and the East Branch of the Tioughnioga River, which flows south.

The next valley contains Limestone Creek, which flows north.

In May 2012, it was announced that 3. 7 km < sup > 2 </ sup > of Stanley Common ( which lies between the Stanley – Mount Pleasant road and the shoreline ) was made safe and had been opened to the public, opening up a three kilometer stretch of coastline and a further two kilometres of shoreline along Mullet's Creek.

There is also a tale about a tunnel in the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona near Cedar Creek which is said to lead inside the earth to a land inhabited by a mysterious tribe.

* 1953 – Arizona Governor John Howard Pyle orders an anti-polygamy law enforcement crackdown on residents of Short Creek, Arizona, which becomes known as the Short Creek raid.

Also, he oversaw the " Trail of Tears ", which involved the expulsion of the Cherokee, Choctaw, Creek, Chickasaw and Seminole from Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and South Carolina to the Oklahoma territory.

The Burra Creek ( also known as the Worlds End Creek ), which flows through Burra township, was once part of the ancient Murray River system.

What was originally a self-standing village ( which has now been subsumed within the city ) lies to the north of the toll bridge, originally built by Sir Piers Edgcumbe in 1525, that crossed what used to be the Deadlake or Stonehouse Creek, to the west of Pennycomequick, the south of Stoke village and to the east of Stoke Church.

Jobs found office space in Palo Alto on 3475 Deer Creek Road, occupying a glass and concrete building which featured a staircase designed by architect I. M. Pei.

The most recent of these reports was the nearby Blue Creek Mountain track find, which was investigated by journalist John Green, Rene Dahinden, and archaeologist Don Abbott on and after August 28, 1967.

On March 11, 1966, these landowners, all fully owned subsidiaries of what is now The Walt Disney Company, petitioned the Circuit Court of the Ninth Judicial Circuit, which served Orange County, Florida, for the creation of the Reedy Creek Drainage District under Chapter 298 of the Florida Statutes.

Therefore, the Disney Company petitioned the Florida State Legislature for the creation of the Reedy Creek Improvement District, which would have almost total autonomy within its borders.

Reedy Creek is a natural waterway, the course of which runs mostly through undeveloped territory east of Haines City.
