The ongoing Lunar Laser Ranging Experiment measures the distance between the Earth and the Moon using laser ranging.

LAGEOS, or Laser Geodynamics Satellites, are a series of scientific research satellites designed to provide an orbiting laser ranging benchmark for geodynamical studies of the Earth.

The TLRS-4 Laser Ranging System is part of the International Laser Ranging Service ( ILRS ), which provides satellite laser ranging and lunar laser ranging data.
